This week Willow Creek Church, the 30-thousand-member mega-church in Illinois, made news for its decision to sever its longstanding ministry partnership with , the largest ministry reaching those struggling with homosexuality who desire to break the bonds of sexual sin. It appears to be a growing trend of churches and religious organizations distancing themselves from partners who stand for Truth of the Bible. Our guest today is Jeff Buchanan, executive vice president of Exodus International. (Willow Creek leadership has not returned our calls.)
Buchanan oversees the more than 250 churches and member agencies across North America that offer hope and help to men and women desiring freedom from homosexuality. Since its launch in 1976, Exodus has become the largest evangelical ministry dealing with this topic in the world today and remains committed to helping those seeking God’s healing and transformation.
