Our cultures world view that:
Man is our savior through technology, through the economy, through their earthly wisdom achieved through degree, through our rights, through our government.
Unfortunately this is the same as our Christian world view today.
Rather than: Jesus Christ is my savior, by His blood and His laying down His Live for me. Only for Him to bring it back again through His resurrection from the Dead. We have been purchased by Him, through Him and for Him and not for ourselves. What rights do you have, other than the right to suffer as our savior did. As His children we are to glorify God in our bodies through obedience to His commands and by our Love for one another.
But we refuse to obey both in our conduct of the home and in our conduct when we come together as believers. Thinking ourselves wiser than God and more in touch with our Culture, we lay aside his commands and in so doing embrace rebellion. What hope then have we for the family, the institute which the Church (Body of Christ) is supposed to uphold.
God turn us back to You and to the example of Jesus Christ who humbled Himself, becoming obedient to the point of death on the Cross. Give us power, by your Holy Spirit both to fear God and live according to Your commands. May Your will grow in us and may we walk in it.
God be glorified in yours.
