Underground group works to instill gay agenda at Christian university

Stay strong, Biola, stand firm.  According to its leaders, this group does not plan to give up on its agenda to seek your compromise:

On the same day President Obama became the first U.S. president to come out in support of same-sex marriage, a group of students announced the presence of the “Biola Queer Underground” at this small evangelical university, touching off a highly-charged debate about Christianity and homosexuality.

The group launched a website and posted flyers around the Biola University campus May 9 with the following message: “We want to bring to light the presence of the LGBTQ community at Biola. Despite what some may assume, there are Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender, and Queers at Biola. We are Biola’s students, alumni, employees, and fellow followers of Christ. We want to be treated with equality and respected as another facet of Biola’s diversity.”

The emergence of the group, whose members remain anonymous, has shaken this 104-year-old Christian college in Southern California. Like many schools rooted in evangelical Christianity, Biola has a code of standards that includes prohibitions on sex outside of marriage and same-sex relationships: Sex is “designed by God to be expressed solely within a marriage between a husband and wife,” according to Biola’s student handbook, which goes on to say that “sexual misconduct, depending on the facts and circumstances of each case will result in disciplinary action.”

With debate raging over the group and its aims, Biola President Barry Corey told students that the school has no intention of changing its policy to “fit increasingly accepted ethical or moral norms. In particular, we don’t need to modernize or bend our biblically based position on sexual ethics.”

The school also issued a new statement on “human sexuality” which calls same-sex relationships “illegitimate moral options for the confessing Christian.” The statement was in the works before the gay group announced itself, but BQU said it showed the “one-sided” nature of the conversation, with no room for those who believe homosexuality isn’t sinful.

The group said they have received hate mail and they call some of the comments expressed in the school newspaper so painful that they had to quit reading it. One of them read, “If you embrace the lifestyle, you are at odds with God and scripture, and it is extremely doubtful that you are a Christian.”

True followers of our Lord Jesus Christ will obey His commandments and if not able ask the precious Holy Spirit of our Heavenly Father to give them strength and wisdom and knowledge to help them overcome uncleanliness.
The Bible is straightforward about feminism and immoral acts and going after strange flesh.
    It is abomination.
The Heavenly Father sees anyone abominable as filth and He will not look upon you.
He will not lead you to His Son Jesus Christ to be filled with His precious Holy Spirit and when Jesus looks upon you He will say depart from me for I never knew you.
I think you need to truly listen to the spirit and confront this demonic influence that has came into our great Christian Nation and ask that by the power of the Holy Spirit you be released from this devilish delusion that satan has put before you.
    In Jesus name
    Amen

There was a time when Christians did not hide their lives from one another as to have a secrete life. Today this seems the norm as our services and institutions are filled with unbelievers and the word of God is so watered down as to barely be proclaimed or studied. The operation of the body is so hindered, that the edification and discipline in the body of Christ are all but absent except in the most severe cases. And even then it is not done for the purpose of restoration but rather to destroy through shame and guilt.

A man puffs himself up through his many words and this certainly seems to be what we are more concerned about building our churches around pulpits, rather than following the Word of God, and puting into practice what the scriptures say to do when we gather.

We are come together to bring our very lives into the Light of Christ so that our own deeds of darkness may be reproved and bring out repentance in our hearts so we may confess our sins, our failure to follow Christ example in laying aside our own wills for the sake of doing His Will regardless of how we feel.

Casting down every imaginings that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Jesus Christ. The one who knew no sin yet was made sin for us. Suffering in His flesh the due penalty for our disobedience our lawlessness.

Lord God by your grace turn us from the idolarty that has enveloped us that we may turn and worship in Spirit and Truth our Lord God, Our Savior Jesus Christ.

What is our reasonable act of worship? Is it not to offer our very selves on the alter of service to one another. Is not this the way of the cross?
