Prayer: What Is It Good For?

Mike and Nancy LeMay are talking about prayer today.  Prayer is something many Christians do every day.  But has it become all about us, rather than all about Him? Are we supposed to hear anything? Does He always answer? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments section.

One Response to “Prayer: What Is It Good For?”

  1. One aspect of prayer has to do with the idea of praying continually, and also the axis of formalism. How formal should prayer be? It can be formal, but it must be sincere, and I think most believers find that over a long period of time prayer becomes a constant submitted conversation with the Lord. Being always on a journey toward greater intimacy with the Lord and other believers in this life, there is no end to that increase and growth in all things godly that comes from humble prayer.
