“Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone” Mark 16:15

A new Gallup Poll shows our confidence in religion is at an all-time low. Now organized religion is not what saves souls, and in fact man-made religion can often lead to a feel-good faith of our own making, or on the other end of extreme: more bondage.  The truth is that we are saved by grace, and faith in the true and risen Lord Jesus Christ.

When we first come to that moment of saving grace and meet Jesus Christ as savior and God, there is so much to learn about Him. And more than ever before, we’re living in a time of easy access to teachings about who He is and why He came.  Whether you’ve been on this journey for a long time or you’re just getting started, you’ll want to learn all you can about God. And He reveals who He is through His Word, and through the Spirit who brings that truth alive and convicts you.   So today we’re talking about developing a biblical worldview that will encourage your journey in Christ.

One Response to “Saved by Grace”

  1. Mr Davis #

We absolutely are going to be without excuse, it is because we can know. It is not hid. It is apparent even the Godhead and His divine nature are evident in His creation. His divine nature such as His eternalness, timelessness, His power, His Perfection, His Precision, His care, His compassion, His wrath, His mercy, His Kindness, even His Omipresence. It is this testimony that should drive us to His word not mankind, for men are none of these things, but His word, His Word is all of these things.

Even though it is apparent we still deny the God of the Bible our allegiance, our adoration, our devotion. That we give that to sinful man who sets himself up as God by denying God's word and imposing his own doctrine and tradition. Thus mankind in its entirety is a prototype of the anti-christ. There a person remains until they are translated out from the power (dominion) of darkness (obscurity) into the Kindom of Light (truth) and that by the Will of God and by the Blood of the Lamb.

But fellowship is required by our Creator, with other fallible sheep and that for ministering to one another under the headship of Christ Jesus by the working of the Holy Spirit who makes all in Christ Jesus One, if we truely are His and not given over to some man or some religion. The man who is not given over will test what he experiences and tests it against the truth and holds to the belief if it doesn't line up it should be corrected but in all humility.

The danger in not correcting behavior or operation is restoration will not happen. God is clear as to how He views our conduct when it is contrary to His word.

1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Think of our Savior Christ Jesus, the same who in the garden said Father if it is possible let this cup pass from me yet not my will but your will be done. Think of Him taking our loathsome sins upon Himself, for all sin is loathsome and bearing our sins in His own flesh. That same flesh by the strength of God He would bruise and tear by the hands of wicked men, even from the top of His head to His feet. Having His beard even pulled from His face and spit upon. That same strength would carry that flesh to its final doom being nailed to a tree to become a cursed man on our behalf and spill what remained of that righteous blood until even His heart was spent being melted in him like wax. The cross would work relentlessly against that flesh to wring the life in the Blood from Him from His flesh which He was so desperate to be rid of and thus seal the doom for sin. He who knew no sin became sin for us. Sin had to die. At the end He knew He paid the full penalty for He declared it by His own lips. It is finished!!

Yet we are commanded to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus.

So why obey? If the Holy Spirit is in you you will want to but not for the works sake or your own sake, but for His namesake, The Name that is above All names. That in the day of visitation even the wicked, those destined for eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire shall bend the knee and give God glory because of you.

Pick up your cross daily and follow me, Christ says. My Sheep hear my voice and will follow me, they will not follow after the voice of a stranger.

    Romans 8
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth ? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded , that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present , nor things to come , 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

May the Love of Christ reign in your hearts through faith and propell us all unto all obedience, Amen! and Amen!
