I don't know what to think of todays show. I didn't hear scripture lifted up today. Rather I saw it diminished and man's high opinion of themselves exalted. I heard rebellion held up as a correct responce and in effect justified because of the misconduct of the Government.

    Proverbs 17:4 KJV
A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.

If we worship God whose name is Jealous for He will not suffer His Glory to be shared with another, so what are we doing holding up the idealogy of wicked men. Yes even this so called black robe regiment. We are all wicked if walk contrary to the scriptures and further our wickedness when we justify our evil actions and teach others to do the same. Today that is what was promoted! Why? Because it promotes our personal adjenda? We are not to have an personal adjenda any longer. We were purchased by the Blood of God; who is The Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end. Serve Him! Serve Him in everything not just when we feel like it, when it seems to suit our purposes, but even when our masters are themselves wicked. 1 Peter 2

We speak proudly of our roots of independance, steeped in rebellion and self preservation. This is not how we learned Christ, if indeed we learned Christ. He who is everything became as it were nothing, making Himself a slave that would pay the ultimate price for our rebellion against him, even death on the cross. (How then can we love rebellion any longer. What clever word will we call it to make it seem right in our eyes?)

Who is it who puts even wicked kings on their throwns? Is it not God Almighty and that for His own ends. Daniel 4;33-37. Why is it that the whole world has been handed over to the authority of Satan if only for a time? Is it not so we don't put our faith in the Government, Commerce, Education or any other institution knowing they exist to test and prove our faith. It doesn't matter who is in charge or who is the figure head, all are bent against us if we indeed are for God and Christ. How can it be any different? Satan is certainly not for Christ and he it is who has been granted authority by the Father to make war against the saints to test them.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written , For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

We are suppsed to be as helpless sheep amongst wolves. Who fights for the sheep, the sheep or the shepherd? The Shepherd does. Vegence is mine I will repay say the Lord. We are supposed to gentle as doves. I guess that only applies to our friends or those friendly towards Christ. Stomp on those who are perishing.

    Deuteronomy 13:1-4

We are failing the test if we are looking to men to lead us. Follow Christ, cling to His example and walk in it, obey all he says to do. If indeed you are in God's mercy follow in it being merciful yourself. If indeed God has shown you grace show it to others. If any are not in Christ pray for them to the Father of lights who has allowed them to be blinded to the truth. We were all here once. We ourselves were His enemy until He himself made us right by granting us faith and that being made possible by His own Blood.

He turned the whole world over with this message: The Kingdom of heaven has come upon you, judgement is at hand, repent and believe in the One sent by the Father. Followers of Jesus Christ have been dying for Him and for this message ever since.

It is only when we are directed to violate the word of God, does God approve of us standing on His word. If you do that without a meek and humble heart, stating plainly how you cannot sin against the Lord God who purchased you with his own blood, and that is why you can't submit, then you sin against God.

God is clear there is no room for Pride in us and if any boast of anything let him boast in this:

Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

Stop worshiping men holding up their example only God is right!

    Proverbs 30:6 KJV
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar .

Lay down your own will, which, is bent against God! Drop the adjendas we allow to govern our lives and let the truth of God's precious word shine through your obedience in self sacrifice and that not for ourselves but for the benifit of others.

Christ Jesus will be glorified either in our discipline or in our obedience.

  2. We did indeed read several Scripture verses, pointed people to the Word of God as absolute Truth, and shared the history of the faith of our founding fathers. With four guests in a one-hour segment, today's program focused on the message about why it is important to raise children with a biblical worldview rather than the non-Christian worldview pushed on students via the NEA.

I don't believe that we ever once diminished God's Word or exalted man's high opinion of themselves. And sometimes we do need to stand up for liberty and against tyranny.

Amy, then you should go back and listen for what was said and that last statement you made stands in contrast to scripture and the conduct of Christ. See Matthew 5 What we need to stand for is the cross and who it was that took our sins there and nailed them to it. Lets exalt that shall we.

The Liberty we are to exalt is the liberty found in Christ alone. John 8:31-32, 36

Contrast that with this John 8:34-35

Applying these scriptures to civil liberties is a lie, and not what the scriptures teach. Even a slave if born again is a freed man in Christ, though he remains a slave. No where are slaves to pursue freedom through their own violence. Nor are servants anywhere to revolt against their masters. We are ordered by God to live quiet peaceable lives in Christ so that no one can speak evil of our conduct. Yet here we are.

You don't need to guess any longer how this country got started down a road of calling evil good and good evil, drawing iniquity with cartropes as on a parade.

Nation is used to discipline nation and that all comes by God. But we who were not a nation cast off authority so we could become one. Is that good?

I am by no means diminshing the blood that was spilt by any who haved served this nation for if truth be told many died for one another's sake and that is noble. But let God be the judge and not ourselves for how can we judge anything. Eccessiastes 3:11-15
