September 11, 2001 attacks in New York City: V...On September 11, 2001, our nation and our world was rocked to its very core. Nothing has been the same in the eleven years since. Today we are going to remember this significant event in our history, and we want to hear your stories. What do you remember about that day, and what are your thoughts about the world today as a result?

In our first segment today, we’re looking at the financial impact and current policies affecting Americans with Bob Atwell. Bob is the founding CEO of Nicolet National Bank, very active in the pro-life front and has some interesting insights into the Health Care Mandate.

    About 2000 years ago we "mankind" crucified the Lord of Glory. I think in light of what the Scriptures say about the Lord of Glory, September 11 pales in comparison. To me this isn't a reminder of the evil of Islam but of the pure evil of all mankind, an evil which is restrained by God himself lest we destroy ourselves before the due time. I stand in awe of God's mercy and grace towards us.

    Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

    27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said , For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

    31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

    Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. 8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

    9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. 10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

    11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. 12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; 13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

    15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. 16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. 17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. 18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies ; to the islands he will repay recompence.

    19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

    That Standard is Christ. Isaiah 52:10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

    13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled , and be very high . 14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: 15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider .

    (I've also commented with this same message in a different forum but I would like to voice my concern here as well as it addresses the issue of 9/11 and how as Christians we need to be 100% honest about how we go about this topic.)

    9/11 was the catalyst event which brought us into all of our latest wars in the middle east under the guise of “the war on terror.” Unfortunately, this false narrative has even Christians controlled into thinking that the event that started it all, 9/11, was actually planned and executed by Muslim extremists living in the caves of Pakistan. I am saying all of this as a Christian and as a truth seeker. I have done extensive research and I have recently written an article which was posted on my blog (below).

    At this point, one third of Americans believe 9/11 was an inside job and even more fascinating is that there is actually proof to back this up, as opposed to the fabricated nonsense our media and government put forth to explain the events. I have spoken to architects, like Richard Gage of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and other researchers who demonstrate astounding evidence that 9/11 was set up by insiders and that the three world trade centers that fell in New York City came down due to pre-placed explosives. I feel compelled to say that as Christians we need to go to bat for the truth even if it proves to be more grueling and less socially acceptable.
