Servant evangelism: Does it work?

Many Christians believe that we can teach people about our faith by letting them see Christ in our lives. In our deeds.  But today we’re going to learn that “servant evangelism” without the full Gospel–the “why,” is no evangelism at all.

Sharing our stories of what Christ has done in our lives is wonderful. Feeding the poor is biblical. And it feels great to serve the Kingdom in this way. But if we don’t share the Gospel message from beginning to end, the people we serve will still be lost, and will still face an eternity without God.

Joining us today is Dave Wager and Elijah Abraham, two powerful men of God who are going to share what true evangelism is all about.

The Gospel is not us doing good deeds or even our following in obedience to Jesus Christ. The Gospel is God's call to all men every where to repent of their own wickedness in which they deny God and put there faith in the righteousness of God the Hope of Glory, that is Christ Jesus the Lord. Who tells us He himself is dwelling in believers who are born again. Not being born in the flesh alone but by the Holy Spirit who is God.

We therefore become more than just a man but rather the dwelling place of God and part of His body the Church. For this reason we should be zealous for one anothers holiness and steadfastness in Christ.

This isn't taught anymore nor is it practiced. Men are too eager to draw others to themselves and to have men be stedfast in them.
