When times are difficult and real persecution comes, how do Christians stay strong in their faith? Today we’re covering stories of hardship for Christians all over the world. In our first segment, our guest Bob Knowling, a veteran telecom CEO and an African-American author who writes about the challenges he has faced as a Christian man in his memoir, You Can Get There From Here. Bob is the founder of ELP, Eagles Landing Partners.

Later in the program, we’re covering stories from the Middle East, where Christians are being persecuted for their faith. Reports from Tehran indicate massive arrests of evangelical Protestant Christians including many former Muslims reported in Iran, with men and women being dragged to prisons across the Islamic nation. And Egypt now allows sharia-sanctioned abductions and forced conversions of young Christian girls to Islam:

  1. Yes, I agree that the democratic platform has sin openly as an agenda and keeping silent about that won't help.
