A curious tweet from Saddleback’s Rick Warren leaves us with some questions about why he would promote Catholic Evangelicalism:
As I’ve written in the past, if you haven’t heard of the “Evangelical Catholicism” movement, you’ll want to read on to understand the meaning of the term and how it will be used in these last days to bring about and shape a one-world religion. Lighthouse Trails Blog is urging Bible believing Christians to understand the true meaning of “Evangelical Catholicism,” also known as the New Evangelization Program:
A new report shows how the Roman Catholic agenda is to win the world to the Eucharistic Jesus in order to set up the “Kingdom of God” on earth. The Eucharistic Jesus requires a Roman Catholic priest and the process of transubstantiation. This “Jesus”, which actually is nothing more than a wafer, is placed into a monstrance (container) and worshipped and adored. This whole process will play a significant role in setting up a One World Religion in the name of Christ that prepares the way for the antichrist.

Rick Warren is utterly disgusting. The man has no shame, no scrupples, no moral compass and will hold hands with anyone that will further his cause-that would be himself. He is not a Christian, just as his new catholic friends are not Christian. He is a danger to anyone who loves the Lord Jesus Christ and will stop at nothing to dismantle the faith of anyone who gets in his way.
I pray God may bring these men’s hearts to repentance. It seems in their speech they have been given wholly over to the Devil. Proverbs 1:32. I also pray we would not fall into the same snare Psalm 73:3-12 and think in our own hearts Psalm 73:13 and forget Psalm 73:17-21
