Archie Bunker: "Come to Jesus on your knees"

English: Publicity photo from All in the Famil...

Who knew that stodgy old conservative Archie Bunker could have a message for a generation of “Christians” that has seemed to have forgotten who Jesus is?  A friend of mine shared this on Facebook tonight, and I thought it was incredibly accurate and practically prophetic!

Check this out and see if it isn’t just as timely today as it was in the 1970s:

Very accurate picture of what it's all about.

Do we Christians do that? I wonder.

Very fitting message for today. Not completely the harlem shake but they still had the same mindset.
Maybe that is where so many have fallen off track, they have forgotten about the knees being humble before our Lord and Savior.

A lot of what Archie said on the show was right but the character was written to come across as uneducated and ignorant. This was by design by Norman Lear who was an atheist.
