Will the America we know survive?

broken-americaHere in the United States, we are increasingly living in a nation on shaky ground. Our government is shut down (except for pet projects of the administration), we have a debt crisis, and our culture here is growing darker by the day. We know that only the true Hope of the Gospel can change anything, but many of you are wondering if America as we know it will survive. So we’re asking you to weigh in: On a scale of 1 – 10 how much confidence do you have that Washington D.C. will ever get its act together and restore the confidence of the American people? And if you are one of the many listeners we have who are outside the United States, we’d love to hear your perspective too.

In our first segment, we turn our eyes to one of the issues the United States faces that doesn’t often get brought up in politically correct conversations: The creeping Sharia that we see as our Muslim population increases and more mosques are being built even in place of buildings that once housed Christian churches. Joining us is Brigitte Gabriel, author of ‘They Must Be Stopped: Why we must defeat radical Islam and how we can do it. She is also the founder of www.actforamerica.org. Zero

"The creeping Sharia that we see as our Muslim population increases and more mosques are being built even in place of buildings that once housed Christian churches."

As long as Christians are satisfied with a "Christianity" that is based on certain "activities", cliches and political debate, then this trend will surely continue.

The call of God for His people to intensely pursue HIS agenda, and to express the very life and nature of His Son has been long forgotten and lost… and seeking to "stop" Islam apart from truly BEING the body of Christ according to God's design will only be futile and counter productive.

Why do you think that "more mosques are being built even in place of buildings that once housed Christian churches?"

According to His word, we who are born again of the Holy Spirit have absolute comfort in His word. And so NO, America will not wake up, and NO Islam will not be stopped. Why, because His word says so and this country is under great and fully righteous judgement for it's iniquity and abominations. "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it". Isaiah 55:11

The only One who will stop Islam is the great I Am, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. And He will do so according to His Word.

Praise be our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What difference does it make if the United States of America (Egypt) survives? Is it going to change anything that has already been written in the Bible?

Exodus 14:6 So he made ready his chariot and took his people with him.
:7 Also, he took six hundred choice chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt with captains over every one of them.
:8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel; and the children of Israel went out with boldness.
:9 So the Egyptians pursued them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen and his army, and overtook them camping by the sea beside Pi Hahiroth, before Baal Zephon.
:10 And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the LORD.
:11 Then they said to Moses, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt?
:12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, 'Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians'? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness."
:13 And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
:14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."
:15 And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.
:16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

The above reference to the Israelites leaving Egypt is pretty much the same today. Are we going to worry and complain to God about those that want to kill us or are we going to be on our knees pleading with God to guide us to those that have no hope and are lost. Born again believers have the hope of everlasting life, we now need to share our faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus, by dying on the cross and rising from death, has already cleared the way for believers in Him to go forward. Our task is not social reform or government reform, the task we have been charged with is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
