One Response to “Being real: Reaching the world”

Mike, I loved you opening comments for this show especially about prayer.

I see Daniel, Daniel 9:3-14 KJV and considered his plea with God almighty over the plight of himself and his people, who because of their obstinate heart, they forsook the commands of God nor did they consider his precepts but rather each did what was right in his own eyes. And then Daniel through the Holy Spirit gives us these gems Daniel 9:7, 9 KJV Oh LORD righteousness belongeth onto thee. To the LORD belongs mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against him.

Job 33:26 he shall pray unto God, and He will be favorable unto him: and he shall see His face with joy: for He will render unto man His righteousness.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew (exchange) their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. 1 Corinthians 12:9-10

In all your ways: whether on the way, whether sitting, rising, going, coming, in thinking, in serving, in directing, in play, even in rest, in all and every manner of life and living Acknowledge the LORD your God and he shall direct your steps. Proverbs 3:5-7 KJV

2 Corinthians 5:9 -15 KJV Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Our Great GOD and King, may you grant us repentance to the acknowledging of the truth that we may recover ourselves out of the snare of the devil who has taken us captive at his will. Oh LORD grant that we may no longer walk as children of darkness following our own counsel instead of heeding yours. Open our eyes LORD, open our ears, teach us your ways, direct our steps, work in us both to know your will and to do all that is according to it. May you open our minds to where we are not that we may see our sin and flee from it.

God has blessed you all, it is for the LORD's mercies we are not consumed for His compassion's, they fail not!! Therefore count the longsuffering of the LORD as salvation.

May the Spirit of Christ fill you to over flowing, may His mighty power provide all you are lacking to stand firm in the days ahead, that you also may walk worthy of the vocation wherein you were called in the High Calling of Christ Jesus and given the ministry of reconciliation.
