Standing strong for 3 years!

Today we’ve reached a landmark anniversary: three years we’ve been in the trenches here at Stand Up For The Truth!  Many of you are sharing birthday wishes on today’s show, and we thank you for standing with us. But we know that we must continue to roll up our sleeves and share the truth of God’s Word and those who are coming against it.  We’re not famous or powerful or rich, but God has blessed us with this platform and these microphones for as long as He wills us to have them, and we will continue to educate, empower and help Christians stand firm.

Joining us in our first segment is our friend Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action, a fierce advocate for marriage, family, life and liberty. The education arm of this organization is Wisconsin Family Council, and here Julaine works to forward Judeo-Christian principles and values by informing citizens, churches and policymakers about important pro-family legislative and cultural issues so they will be inspired to get involved in preserving and strengthening marriage and family.

I am a new listener I found your site last week. I am encouraged that I am not alone in standing for the Truth. My church had recently brought in the practice of "Holy Yoga" with the intention to bring in more people to the church. Even though it did bring people in, some people left because of this practice being advertised in the church. Well, I prayerfully decided to make a stand and even though the leadership endorsed this practice they did back down and is no longer advertised and practiced on the church site. However, since the leadership endorsed this practice, some of them are attending the "Holy Yoga" class which has moved to another location. Because of this I feel ostracized within the church which has made me uncomfortable and is hurting my worship and fellowship. I thank you for your interviews with Warren Smith and other ex-new agers for they are informative as to what is happening within our churches. I encourage you to keep up the good work and God Bless.
