Certainly this generation faces enormous challenges as public education and media have succeeded at indoctrinating many of them into a secular humanist world view. And this generation of younger people will one day lead our nation and our churches; some already are! So how can we help them turn (back) to God instead of away from Him? Religion and Culture expert, Dr. Alex McFarland joins us today to discuss this and other concerns.Read More

Jesus warned His followers to expect scorn, hatred, discrimination and mockery at the hands of a world that hated Him and His message of confession, repentance and reconciliation to God through through faith in Him as the Savior. Certainly, believers in nations such as China, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia face some of the worst of the backlash of hatred against Jesus while here in the Western world we live relatively unscathed – as of now.
But has this been gradually changing right under our noses, and what can we expect in the coming years?
Todd Nettleton of Voice of the Martyrs gives us an update on the growing persecution of Christians around the world, how we can pray, and how we can support them.Read More
While there are many Christian Churches in America standing firmly on and teaching the full counsel of God’s Word, many are also conforming to the ways of this world. In their misguided zeal for “church growth” some churches look more like carnivals than houses of worship–literally. This morning we look at what a couple of mega churches in our nation are up to on the “entertainment front”.
In our first segment today, we check in with Doug Wakefield of Best Minds, Inc. to look at world economic trends in light of the Bible’s teaching on money. Also, why suddenly, after claiming to do so much good for poor people has the Clinton Foundation decided to close its doors?Read More
The Middle East is on fire: An estimated 500,000 dead in Syria’s Civil War; Iraq in shambles; Iran flexing its muscle; Israel under growing threat; Turkey in chaos; and Russia solidifying its influence.
Europe is reeling from its short sighted policy of letting millions of Muslim refugees into its nations and Islamic terrorism is becoming a daily occurrence around the world. All of this centered on a religion most Americans know very little about: Islam. Later in our show we take a look at the fundamentals of the Muslim faith and differentiate between Sunni and Shiite beliefs.
In our first segment we check in with William Murray of The Religious Freedom Coalition to sort out all the events happening in Syria, Iraq and Turkey, and see how the light and love of Jesus Christ is being brought to many families affected by the tragedy in Iraq and Syria.Read More
As Americans are obsessed with the Presidential election and all the mud slinging going on, things are happening in the world that point to very troubling times. This morning we report on Russia’s warning that war with America may be inevitable, and how the U.N. continues to marginalize Israel, even denying it access to one of its holiest places.
We’re also joined by Tim Chaffey of Answers in Genesis, who has written a new novel with K. Marie Adams about Noah: Man of Destiny.Read More
Have you ever bitten into an apple that looks healthy and nutritious, only to find out it had been infested by a worm and was rotten on the inside? Things are not always as they seem, and Christians who cannot discern truth from clever deception can easily become puppets for evil while thinking they are doing God’s will.
Stand Up for the Truth radio started nearly six years ago when this ministry had to take a tough stand against Jim Wallis of Sojourners, a closet Marxist masquerading as a Christian, who had been invited to be the keynote speaker at a Christian youth event. At the time we took some hits for our stance, but time and experience has proven Wallis and his organization is a front for anti-Christian values like abortion and same sex marriage.
This morning, we discuss an open letter from AmericanEvangelicals.org exposing who is behind the funding of progressive Christian organizations, and why this movement is so dangerous to the church and America.

On September 17th, we celebrate “Constitution Day” in the United States. We are encouraged to remember the laws and principles our nation was established upon–Judeo Christian laws and principles. These days we see the Constitution being denigrated and attacked by progressive judges and movements aiming to change our history to advance their plan of socialism, big government and godless humanism.
Many people believe that the rise in power of the Federal Government Education System has fostered this attack on the Constitution. Dr. Duke Pesta joins us to look at the deterioration of public education and the lurking dangers of Common Core.Read More
The Bible warns that in the latter days there would be growing immorality, confusion and chaos. As disciples of Jesus Christ we understand that none of this surprises God nor usurps His plans. But we as His followers face the challenge of being light and salt to the world without being sucked in to its ways.
This morning we discuss some news items that lend to more confusion and discuss how committed Christians should respond to all that is happening around us. Our guest is Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action. She offers excellent advice to young Christian parents sending their children back to public schools this time of year. How can they possibly prepare their impressionable kids to handle all the issues of sex education including genderlessness, political correctness, and humanist indoctrination?Read More
We live in a nation where we have been blessed with tremendous freedom, including the ability to openly proclaim the gospel of salvation to all men. But we are seeing an attack on religious freedom that will be a challenge to all of us as Christians. This morning we cover a few stories about the increasing challenges to our religious freedoms–but we also take a step back to keep things in proper perspective.Read More
The freedom to worship and express our religious beliefs is an important right guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. But with it comes all sorts of challenges. When a religion known for suppressing the rights of women and other people begins to spread, where does safety and religious freedom intersect or conflict?
This morning we cover a brewing legal battle in Michigan where a city denied Muslims a permit to build a mega-Mosque in a residential community. Now the Federal Government is threatening legal action against the city.
While many Christians agree with the city’s decision this begs the question of how would they feel if it was a Christian Church being denied the right to build? Should the reality of growing radical Muslim terrorism factor in to the discussion on religious freedoms?
In the first segment we are joined by Dr. Cal Beisner of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation for an update on the climate change battles and what we need to know about “science” in this battle.Read More
In the book of Ephesians, Paul tells us our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. He encourages us to put on the full armor of God for this battle for the eternal souls of men.
Every effective army is comprised of strong focused leaders and committed followers. As we see the church in America being generally ineffective in sharing the gospel and making true disciples for Christ, we have to wonder if the problem is weak leadership; disinterested, uncommitted followers, or both. We cover an article by Peter Heck in our second segment titled, “Maybe the Problem isn’t the Church… Maybe it’s You.”
In our first segment we talk with author Preston Condra of watchman.org about his new book By Which We are Saved: Sharing the Gospel with Confidence. Why are we failing to share the gospel of salvation with our friends and families?Read More
In John 18:38, Pontius Pilate asks Jesus one of the single greatest questions of the entire Bible: “What is truth?” That question is just as important today. It might seem like a very simple question, but when we see how the definition of truth has been twisted and redefined these days, it is vital to clarify from the Word of God.
We are also seeing the subsequent trouble our culture and the church is in, so there is no greater challenge facing us today than to define truth as God defines it instead of following the world and changing the definition to feed our flesh.
Cindy Hartline of Love for the Truth Radio joins us this morning to discuss truth and how it has been redefined to fit the agenda of sinful man.
In our second segment, David Fiorazo has our weekly Media Watch segment as we help you see the clever deception of secular media and how they attempt to indoctrinate people into their agenda.Read More
I wrote my latest book, The Death of Christian Thought, to warn Christians how the dangerous lies of Humanism were infiltrating the hearts and minds of an increasing number of professing Christians, leading many away from God and toward eternal damnation. This morning in our second segment we cover a recent study that shows just how bad things are getting as the spiritual beliefs of younger people stray further and further away from the truth of God and His Word.
In our first segment we talk with Pastor Randy White about a very interesting book by Dave Breese titled Seven Men Who Rule the World from the Grave. We’ll look at seven men whose anti-Christian beliefs and philosophies continue to strongly influence people and society long after their deaths.Read More
A crucial doctrine of Christianity is the eventual return of Jesus Christ to judge all men and establish His everlasting Kingdom. Sadly, Bible prophecy is ignored in many churches so Christians are left to their own to try to understand that glorious day when our Lord returns to vanquish evil.
One question I love to ask professing Christians is this: When Jesus returns what does the world look like and what does He do? If their answer involves us, human beings establishing universal justice or cleaning up the world of poverty and pollution, then I know I am dealing with someone who embraces what is called “Dominion theology.” This is the idea that when men clean up the earth Jesus returns and we simply “hand over the keys” to Him so to speak. This is a dangerous form of Humanism, elevating man and discounting God.
One arm of Dominion Theology is called “Kingdom Now” theology and this morning we are joined by Pastor Andy Woods who has written several books discussing this movement.Read More
In Matthew 16:18, the “church” is first mentioned in God’s Word as Jesus tells Peter that his revelation ‘Jesus is the Christ’ is the rock upon which Jesus will build His church. And “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Jesus established His church to spread the gospel and equip Christians to walk as His disciples, living as he lived in obedience to the Father. The Christian Church should starkly contrast secular culture and be light in an increasingly dark world. But is this happening in America? A strong argument can be made that the church is increasingly ineffective in transforming lives and the culture we live in.
Who is to blame for this problem? Is it church leadership failing to equip the believers? Or is it the people they lead? People who want enough Jesus to be saved, but not enough to be transformed into living a life holy and pleasing to God?
We explore these questions this morning with Dave Wager of Nicolet Bible Institute.Read More
