There can be little doubt that there is a comprehensive worldwide movement to kick God off His throne and replace Him with the worship of “mother earth”. The United Nations will soon be voting on giving “mother earth” human rights and the US seems willing to go along with this insanity.

Imagine how this will affect our freedoms as property owners. The UN could assume the power to tell each of us what we can and cannot do with land we own. But most importantly, this is a blatant move by humanists and universalists to establish earth worship. When this happens, watch closely for the wrath of God to be poured out on this world.

Earth worship is obviously a blatant disobedience of God’s first and second commandments. But truth be told, each of us as Christians violate these commandments in our own ways. Do we place our material possessions in a more important position than God in our lives? Do we depend on money to provide happiness instead of looking to God for our joy and provision? When push comes to shove and we are asked to receive the mark of the beast, will we give in? Or will we stand firm on God’s Word—even if it means we cannot buy or sell anything?

Jesus asked the question: “When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth?” I believe in my heart that the separation of Jesus’ sheep from the goats is beginning. And sadly, many who consider themselves His sheep, will not recognize his voice. Will you? Are you seeking God with all your heart, mind and strength? Or is God someone you call on occasionally when you are in trouble?

Things are not going to get any easier for the church. Prejudice, slander and persecution are on the rise. In many countries you face imprisonment or death for professing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. But here in America, we do not yet face that choice. But the day is coming when we will be forced to choose to worship God or the world. Are our hearts prepared? Are we willing to give up anything—even our lives—to remain faithful to God?

Are our thoughts, words and actions consumed with the will of God? Or are we picking and choosing which of His commandments to follow and which to ignore? I believe one morning we will wake up and the world will be a completely different place. And we will each have a choice to make. Are we prepared? Are we willing to give up all this world has to offer to remain faithful to Jesus Christ? When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith in you?
