The hypocrisy of so called social justice organizations like Sojourners is truly amazing. They will take stands on issues like public transportation, growing the federal government through higher taxes and global warming, but they are silent while 1,5 million babies are murdered every year in our nation under the guise of a woman’s right to choose.
Yet Sojourners and their lapdog partners like Joshua, Wisdom, Esther and the Gamaliel Foundation are infiltrating churches in Wisconsin with their version of “justice”. But ask them to take a stand for the life of innocent children and they are silent. Even worse, much of the monies these brood of viper organizations raise goes to support political candidates dedicated to preserving the murder of these innocent children.
And an even sadder testimony is how many local churches invite these organizations in to preach their version of ‘justice” and raise millions of dollars from Christians who don’t seem to care one iota that millions of children are being murdered every year.
Up until about 40 years ago, the Christian church in America used to stand strong against evil infiltrating our government and the fabric of American society. But somewhere along the way the Church lost its courage and moral compass. Too many of our churches have become more like social clubs seeking members instead of standing up for the righteousness and true justice of the bible. We have consciously or unconsciously chosen to abandon millions of innocent children who will be murdered so we can be seen as more accepting or so we don’t rile up public sentiment against the church.
In Isaiah 7:9, God warns His people “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all”. Is the church in America standing firm in their professed faith? When we sit back silently and allow millions of innocent children to be murdered, is that standing firm in our faith? When we allow these brood of vipers in the social justice movement into our churches to push their agenda, is that standing firm in our faith? When we sit silently as the radical homosexual movement gets gay marriage legalized in more and more states, undermining God’s plan for marriage and families, is that standing firm in our faith?
We can blame politicians, society or anyone we want—but the bottom line is the church in America has fallen asleep at the wheel—and her silence is driving this nation right in to the hands of an angry God. And we, the church, will be held accountable for our silence and cowardice.
I hope and pray every day that the church in America will awaken from the deep sleep we have fallen into. That Christian leaders will stand up for our faith and fight against the evils ravaging our nation and the church itself. Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham pleaded with God—and God said that if he could find only 10 good men he would not destroy the cities. How many “good men” will have to stand up before God yields his wrath on a nation that has been so blessed by him, but allows millions of innocents to be murdered every year?
“If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all”. Dare we take God seriously on this warning?
