I think it is a safe assumption that the majority of born-again Christians believe the true Church will be raptured by Jesus Christ before the tribulation prophesied in The Book of Revelation. But there is a growing number of solid, committed Christians who believe that perhaps that might not be true. This view says believers in Christ may indeed go through at least part of the tribulation before the Lord takes us out of this world.
Today we talk with a respected pastor and film producer–Pastor Joe Schimmel of Good Fight Ministries–who is asking Christians to consider a different perspective as well as the history about how the pre-tribulation doctrine grew in popularity. Joe has contributed to many documentaries exposing emergent theology, new Age and the occult.
We know we have been spared the Righteous wrath of God against sin by the sacrifice and atonement of Jesus Christ–that we who confess, repent and believe in and trust Him alone for our salvation will not incur the wrath of God. But will that necessarily protect us against the wrath of Satan in the final days?
From Good Fight Ministries:
We believe that this is an in-house debate and not something that Christians should divide over. However, we also believe that this is a very important issue for millions of Christians who may not be prepared for the end times. Our heart is to lovingly share the Word of God in order to prepare the Church.

The Submerging Church – What are Emergent Church leaders teaching that has so many of our current generation tuned in to their “doctrine,” but tuned out to holy scripture? How have Emergent leaders captured the hearts and minds of unsuspecting people all over the world, departing from many of the clear teachings, commandments and warnings found in the pages of the bible?
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. Mark 13:24-27
1 Thessalonians 1:9-10
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
