There’s no better time than today to take a look at the wacky world of radical environmentalism and check in with Dr. Cal Beisner of the Cornwall Alliance. He helps us keep things in biblical perspective.
Even Christians can get duped by ungodly influences and buy into the lie that we need to save the earth – even at the expense of devaluing human life in order to do so. The first question Beisner answered in the interview: What is “evangelical environmental stewardship”?
What does the Word of God tell us? For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Romans 1:25
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so. God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Genesis 1:27-31
Psalm 8:3-8, Romans 8:19-22
In the second segment, we touched on the Super Bowl commercial Doritos ran featuring the ultrasound of a mother to be; the ad apparently offended NARAL and radical pro-abortion minions because the commercial “humanizes the fetus.” Guess what? The baby in the ultrasound is human and in fact, his name is Freddie. See “Unborn Baby Bonding with Dad on Ultrasound.”
We address the reaction of both NFL quarterbacks after the big game and talk about professing Christian celebrities and the danger of idolizing the rich and famous. Shouldn’t we discern the fruit of any celebrity’s life – once they profess some form of Christian faith? Whether they like it or not they are role models and Christian kids will emulate their lives.
We touch briefly on the Super Bowl halftime show and the political, godless messages that were preached to millions. (From Good Fight Ministries: “Beyonce, Coldplay, the Super Bowl and Satan“)
Finally, here in Wisconsin a lawsuit is in the works regarding Muslims who are claiming they were fired on the basis of religious discrimination because they were not permitted paid time away from work to pray five times a day.
