TODAY’S GUEST: Alex McFarland, Christian apologist, author of many books, evangelist, religion and culture analyst. Alex is the only evangelist to have preached in all 50 states in only 50 days on his “Tour Of Truth” crusade. Alex was the third president of Southern Evangelical Seminary and College, located in Charlotte, NC,  he served as Focus On The Family’s first Director of Teen Apologetics, and as the Director of Apologetics and Christian Worldview at North Greenville University (SC).

Alex has a passion for encouraging Christians on how to stand strong in the face of diminishing morals, ethics, and values.  In 1990s, Alex pioneered the Truth for a New Generation Conference designed to equip teens and adults to know what they believe and defend their faith. The conferences have featured respected speakers such as Josh McDowell, Ravi Zacharias, Lee Strobel, Eric Metaxas, Todd Starnes, Joni Eareckson Tada, and many others.

His upcoming book is called Moral Decay: The Real Cultural Threat No One Talks About.

We discuss reasons why some Christians fall away from God and leave the faith, shallow theology and soft sermons, discipleship and youth ministry, the battle for truth in a culture of moral relativism, and the political divide due to identity politics and globalism.
