Then we will look at a new streaming mockumentary-sitcom-disgrace from the minds of the producers of The Chosen: “The Promised Land”. The accepted description of it is, “If The Chosen and The Office had an offspring, it would be “The Promised Land”, and indeed that is the precise description that might set our teeth on edge before we even watch it. Episode 1 dropped a month ago and already it is very popular. Of course it is, The Chosen name brand has a built in audience. Is it biblical? Reverent? No. Entertaining, yes – but what is the place for that when it comes to people who actually lived and whom God used to bring about His will? Finally, we look at the Catholic prayer app, “Hallow”. An informative hour.
