The Peace of God

Paul tells us in Philippians Chapter 4 that we should rejoice in the Lord at all times, not be anxious and receive the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding.  Now which of us would not want total peace?  Yet which of us as Christians truly experiences it?

We have been forgiven of our sins and received the promise of eternity with God in heaven, yet we continue to struggle and worry about this life.  Instead of exhibiting peace we are often filled with angst.

Statues of Jesus the Next Victims of Cancel Culture?

Many activists have now gone from assaulting police, stopping traffic, burning down buildings, blowing up cars, and breaking windows to tearing down federal monuments and statues of historical figures. 

The question is will they now obey the marching orders of racist and radical, Shaun King, a leader in the Black Lives Matter movement. A social justice activist, King unleashed a firestorm Monday on social media saying statues of Jesus Christ are a gross form of white supremacy and must be taken down.
