Everyone wants to feel like they belong to something special, connecting with other people in some meaningful way. Christians find it Christian fellowship; the world finds it in social media or sports. Some are seduced by “secret societies” or Gnosticism, thinking they can acquire hidden knowledge and understanding for the select few. This morning we take a peak behind the veil of perhaps the greatest “secret society” in the world: Freemasonry. It is a movement shrouded in secrecy and mystery and many believe it is a portal to worshiping a false god or even Satan himself.Carl Teichrib, author of “Game of Gods” discussing the coming one world religion, joins us this morning to take a closer look at Freemasonry. Can you be a true Christian and a Freemason at the same time? Was our nation founded by Masons and do they still influence policy and direction today? And what is the goal and purpose of this most secret of societies?Read More
In our final segment this morning we look at the recently concluded “Global Oneness Summit”–a call to humanity uniting and taking its place as the divine. It is easy or tempting to just dismiss these people as half-baked “earth muffins”; but their influence reaches into media strongholds and moguls like Oprah Winfrey, who partners with the infamous Rob Bell and Pastor T.D. Jakes, giving Winfrey influence in the Christian Church. And the lure of this “oneness movement” thinking of ourselves as gods is consistent with the temptation of Adam and Eve that got us into this mess of sin, decay and death to begin with. One of the organizers and presenters, Matthew Fox, has profound influence within the Emergent Church movement and Red Letter Christians.
Next Tuesday young children dressed in costume will be knocking at our doors with the familiar refrain of “trick or treat” inviting us to give them candy. While the vast majority of children see Halloween as nothing more than an opportunity to fill up on candy, the history and significance of this “holiday” cannot be diminished nor should it be dismissed out of hand.
Kathi McCarty joins us this morning to discuss the history and tradition of Halloween and its direct connection to the occult. Kathi has extensively studied occult and New Age thinking and shares her thoughts about the pros or cons of Christians participating in Halloween, along with looking at how New Age and even the occult itself is infiltrating certain areas of professing Christianity.Read More
The City of Manitowoc, Wisconsin kicks off its Windigo Fest tonight. “Windigo” is an American Indian folklore about a cannibalistic monster and evil spirit who allegedly possesses humans and becomes monstrous. There is even a modern medical term associated with it these days called “Windigo Psychosis.” Despite protests and concerns from some citizens, the city is allowing this dark event and some are very concerned the city is opening its arms to demonic presence and influence.
And guess who is kicking off the event? Opening with “some prayers for healing from the evil violence shaking our nation,” is a local Presbyterian pastor. So pastor, you are endorsing and participating in an event that celebrates violence and spiritual possession, while praying against violence in our nation?
We also share your comments and questions from the week, including comments from students who received varying reactions to bringing their bibles to school yesterday, gun control, understanding the liberal mindset, and what to do when your children argue with you about going to church.Read More
Death has been called the “great door to the unknown”. Since the beginning of time man has wondered if there is life after death; and if so what does that life look like. Of course, God’s Word speaks clearly to the issue. One key section is the ‘resurrection chapter’ where Paul teaches believers about the resurrection of the physical body after death. The other thing is as believers in Christ, we have assurance the world does not have about what happens after we die.
In out first segment, Jay Seegert joins us to discuss the Grand Canyon and the evidence it presents confirming the biblical account of creation.
In our second segment today we cover the story of one Theresa Caputo, the self-proclaimed “Long Island Medium” who was in Green Bay last night. Caputo claims to speak to dead spirits, bringing peace to people who wonder what has happened to their loved ones. We’ll take a look at Caputo’s claims and see what God’s Word has to say about contacting dead spirits.Read More
Seeds planted by the enemy and his followers countless decades ago are now being harvested in American culture and worldwide – and they have produced unimaginable debauchery and destruction. The problem is, too many Christians have chosen to look the other way as immorality spreads like an infectious disease. Pastor Joe Schimmel gives a strong warning to the church.Read More
On Fridays we discuss your comments and answer your questions – always looking to God’s Word. Several of you have written in about potential gun control laws and the possible threat of disarming the general public. Should Christians obey such a law? Also:
When pastors tell too many stories or analogies during a sermon, does it take away from God’s Word?

In spite of all the violence in America, and a growing hatred for God and His Word, we are still very blessed as Christians to be Americans because of the religious freedoms we have. That could be changing. But we have not yet suffered to the point of torture or death for our faith in Jesus Christ.
The same cannot be said for millions of Christians suffering around the world, whose very freedom and life are in danger because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Todd Nettleton of Voice of the Martyrs joins us to look at our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world who remain faithful to Jesus despite imprisonment, torture and even martyrdom. Will we be as
faithful to Christ if and when it comes to our shores?
Every time a well-known Christian renounces their faith, we need to remember that God never changes and His Word is still truth! Recently two more prominent believers fell away: Christian Author Joshua Harris, who wrote important books on sexual purity and dating for Christians, and a young leader of Hillsong Music, Marty Harris. Both announced they are no longer Christians. In our final segments we will look at closer at this pattern of growing apostasy within professing Christianity.
In our first segment, we are joined by Mike Levenhagen of Reclamation Resource Center. He joins us to discuss his journey out of homosexuality by God’s grace, and how we can minister to those suffering with any sinful sexual attraction as well as gender confusion.Read More
To those of us who are older, seasoned Christians perhaps, we see an America today little like we experienced growing up. Certainly there were problems throughout our history, but nothing like we witness today. Moral decay, including the murder of 60,000,000 million children through abortion; a public education system that is in lock step with anti-god globalists; a media with no sniff of objectivity and in the tank for the far left; as well as a political party, the Democrats, that has completely sold out to global corporate interests and the radical LBGTQ lobby.
We live in a nation where both our religious freedoms and right to bear arms are increasingly under attack.
Pastor and best-selling author, Carl Gallups joins us to discuss just where America might be headed. He brings a unique perspective as a pastor, biblical scholar, and former Law Enforcement Official. Where are we headed and can this slide toward totalitarian government be averted? If not, what are the responsibilities of disciples of Jesus Christ toward a government that sees us as a threat to its power?Read More
