Mary welcomes back Executive Director of the Lindell Recovery Network, Melissa Huray to talk about our identity in Christ. The culture is obsessed with identity based on politics, race, creed and a host of other invented and invested notions that cause us to become and belong. And it is all too easy for believers to just fall into line and take on and become not only what and who WE think we are, but also what others think we are. After all, how are we ever going to get along with the culture if we don’t dance to their tune? But as believers, we are not to be conformed to this world in any way. How to break free from that, this is what is important. Christ in me is to live; we are HIS workmanship, not each others’. For those who have spent any time at all in ministry, there is an expectation to perform and be perfect or at least meet everyone’s needs. But the Bible says otherwise. Jesus is our all in all. An hour dedicated to our internal freedom in Christ.
