On today’s edition of SUFTT we explore (and dig around a bit!) some findings of Israel’s ancient past because that is the one place on earth where past, present, and future dwell seamlessly together. And why not, our God is outside of time. The past: we observe the 9th of Av today and tomorrow; the present: archaeological findings confirm that particular past – and presented on the evening of that observance besides; and the future: we acknowledge that all Israel will be saved in God’s future plan. And while we are here, we observe the headlines that speak loudly as to the lateness of the hour. We talk about coming persecution in the form of censorship and increasing pressure on believers to conform or be quiet; and speaking of the cost of living – it’s going up and up.
