The fundamental divide in life is quite simple: God loves people, environmental activists don’t. In the view of eco-fascists, man is a noxious weed who is nothing more than a parasite, whose presence and imprint must be removed as far as possible from every place on earth. The answers these sites provide are often unbiblical and lead searching people down a false path—potentially to their own spiritual destruction.

Millennials. It seems the very mention of the word draws equally passionate and polarized responses from people of all ages. Are Millennials really the narcissistic, self-centered, entitled, and lazy collective that they are accused of being, or is there a deeper problem lurking which creates division between this generation and those previous?
There is nothing new under the sun, and false teachings and unbiblical movements have been around since the founding of the Christian church. We are warned in Scripture over and over to watch out for false teachers, but today’s church has been infected with them.
Too many believers have accepted unbiblical ideas because on the surface they might sound good, but they leave you deceived and empty. It is easy to fall into deception, but few understand the underlying fact that it is clearly a war against the Truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Deceivers have crept unnoticed, and have infiltrated many American churches and denominations infecting countless victims. Some are subtle in their approach while others are blatantly heretical, denying the deity of Jesus Christ, promoting compromise and espousing man’s agendas. The NAR is one such movement.
It’s the debate that won’t go away: should Christians be involved in politics? This just leads to more questions. What do you mean by “involved,” and what issues do you say are political? What issues do you say are moral? And what about the so-called separation of church and state?
What about pastors and church leaders? Should they discuss politics and government – and should they do it during church services? (some of you gasp!) After all, like we discussed yesterday with Julaine Appling, someone’s morality will be legislated and our government is supposed to be of the people and for the people. Then there’s the confusing question of whether someone can follow Jesus and support Donald Trump. Wait, what?
But it’s hard not to notice the downward spiral of morality in what is often referred to as our post-Christian culture. This doesn’t necessarily mean the church is dead and gone, but all polls and surveys pretty much confirm the fact that Christians are not effectively influencing government and society any longer.
TODAY’S GUEST – Pastor Chris Quintana joins us to look at recent events in America and Israel through the lens of Scripture. Lots of “P’s” to tackle today: pastor’s perspective, politics, Pelosi, and peace plans. Chris is the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel Cypress in California.
Much of what we see happening in America today is a result of the government’s legislation, policies, taxation, and the carrying out of laws and regulations. Biblical values matter – even among elected representatives. We must be reminded that someone’s morality will be legislated across the land, and will affect a majority of people.
But a government “of the people” is supposed to serve its citizens and not the other way around. Representatives are elected by the people and they are to be for the people, but if we fail to pay attention to the issues, bills, and legislation being debated, it’s on us when they pass something that affects us negatively. Do we need to be reminded elections have consequences?

Whatever happened to the Emergent or ’emerging’ church? We sure don’t hear much about it anymore, and there are reasons for that. But the truth is the cancer of this deception and its rotten fruit – including a rejection of the deity of Jesus Christ, rebellion against God’s word and moral absolutes, social justice, liberalism, and identity politics – has infected Christian churches across America.
It is quite clearly and simply a war against the Truth. One of those battles heating up in our culture is over sex and gender identity. Joe Biden recently declared, “Transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time.” Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
