A Confused and Lost Generation?

Joel Osteen and Deceptive Prosperity Preaching
When one of the most popular Christian leaders in America focuses more on personal growth, self-improvement, and positive thinking than on the essential doctrines of the faith such as repentance from sin, sanctification, and the atoning work of Jesus Christ, there’s a problem. The prosperity gospel preached by men such as Joel Osteen has been described as biblically anemic theology. And millions have fallen for it.
When Church Becomes A Business
This morning we look at the continued fallout from a couple of Chicago area megachurches that allowed secular principles and techniques to influence how they conduct church. Harvest Bible Church is reeling from the financial corruption of now dismissed Pastor James McDonald while Willow Creek is back in the news as liberal Democrat Senator Cory Booker is under fire from the LGBTQ community for speaking at the Willow Creek Leadership Summit a few years back.
In our first segment we visit with Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Council to discuss activity and strategy within the Wisconsin legislature. Pro-life legislation is being proposed knowing radical WI Governor Tony Evers will veto it. Is there a plan behind passing legislation that has little to no chance of being enacted?

Trust, Confidence and Fear
The life of a disciple of Jesus Christ can be complex at times. The Bible tells us we should trust God in all matters. It says we can approach the throne of God in confidence with our petitions. And yet it also says to fear God. Exposing the Fallacy of Progressive Christianity
A deadly fall down a mountain usually begins with a single careless step. And once we take that wrong step, the fall can be swift and lead to serious injury or death. It is no different with our eternal souls – and the souls of others. A single serious misstep of twisting God’s Word to appeal to our flesh can often lead to deception or even a fall.Deceived or deceivers? Today, Mike and David continue to look at the tenets of so-called Progressive Christianity, and how it often disputes and even contradicts the foundational teachings of the Bible. Redefining God: Paganism and Progressive Christianity
There is only one true God, but that has never stopped people from trying to redefine Him or find other gods to worship. Today, humanity seems bent on identifying a god that will suit their passions and beliefs rather than surrendering to the living God who created us and sustains us.
