Certainly this generation faces enormous challenges as public education and media have succeeded at indoctrinating many of them into a secular humanist world view. And this generation of younger people will one day lead our nation and our churches; some already are! So how can we help them turn (back) to God instead of away from Him? Religion and Culture expert, Dr. Alex McFarland joins us today to discuss this and other concerns.Read More

Jesus warned His followers to expect scorn, hatred, discrimination and mockery at the hands of a world that hated Him and His message of confession, repentance and reconciliation to God through through faith in Him as the Savior. Certainly, believers in nations such as China, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia face some of the worst of the backlash of hatred against Jesus while here in the Western world we live relatively unscathed – as of now.
But has this been gradually changing right under our noses, and what can we expect in the coming years?
Todd Nettleton of Voice of the Martyrs gives us an update on the growing persecution of Christians around the world, how we can pray, and how we can support them.Read More
While there are many Christian Churches in America standing firmly on and teaching the full counsel of God’s Word, many are also conforming to the ways of this world. In their misguided zeal for “church growth” some churches look more like carnivals than houses of worship–literally. This morning we look at what a couple of mega churches in our nation are up to on the “entertainment front”.
In our first segment today, we check in with Doug Wakefield of Best Minds, Inc. to look at world economic trends in light of the Bible’s teaching on money. Also, why suddenly, after claiming to do so much good for poor people has the Clinton Foundation decided to close its doors?Read More
The Middle East is on fire: An estimated 500,000 dead in Syria’s Civil War; Iraq in shambles; Iran flexing its muscle; Israel under growing threat; Turkey in chaos; and Russia solidifying its influence.
Europe is reeling from its short sighted policy of letting millions of Muslim refugees into its nations and Islamic terrorism is becoming a daily occurrence around the world. All of this centered on a religion most Americans know very little about: Islam. Later in our show we take a look at the fundamentals of the Muslim faith and differentiate between Sunni and Shiite beliefs.
In our first segment we check in with William Murray of The Religious Freedom Coalition to sort out all the events happening in Syria, Iraq and Turkey, and see how the light and love of Jesus Christ is being brought to many families affected by the tragedy in Iraq and Syria.Read More
As Americans are obsessed with the Presidential election and all the mud slinging going on, things are happening in the world that point to very troubling times. This morning we report on Russia’s warning that war with America may be inevitable, and how the U.N. continues to marginalize Israel, even denying it access to one of its holiest places.
We’re also joined by Tim Chaffey of Answers in Genesis, who has written a new novel with K. Marie Adams about Noah: Man of Destiny.Read More
Have you ever bitten into an apple that looks healthy and nutritious, only to find out it had been infested by a worm and was rotten on the inside? Things are not always as they seem, and Christians who cannot discern truth from clever deception can easily become puppets for evil while thinking they are doing God’s will.
Stand Up for the Truth radio started nearly six years ago when this ministry had to take a tough stand against Jim Wallis of Sojourners, a closet Marxist masquerading as a Christian, who had been invited to be the keynote speaker at a Christian youth event. At the time we took some hits for our stance, but time and experience has proven Wallis and his organization is a front for anti-Christian values like abortion and same sex marriage.
This morning, we discuss an open letter from AmericanEvangelicals.org exposing who is behind the funding of progressive Christian organizations, and why this movement is so dangerous to the church and America.

On September 17th, we celebrate “Constitution Day” in the United States. We are encouraged to remember the laws and principles our nation was established upon–Judeo Christian laws and principles. These days we see the Constitution being denigrated and attacked by progressive judges and movements aiming to change our history to advance their plan of socialism, big government and godless humanism.
Many people believe that the rise in power of the Federal Government Education System has fostered this attack on the Constitution. Dr. Duke Pesta joins us to look at the deterioration of public education and the lurking dangers of Common Core.Read More
The Bible warns that in the latter days there would be growing immorality, confusion and chaos. As disciples of Jesus Christ we understand that none of this surprises God nor usurps His plans. But we as His followers face the challenge of being light and salt to the world without being sucked in to its ways.
This morning we discuss some news items that lend to more confusion and discuss how committed Christians should respond to all that is happening around us. Our guest is Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action. She offers excellent advice to young Christian parents sending their children back to public schools this time of year. How can they possibly prepare their impressionable kids to handle all the issues of sex education including genderlessness, political correctness, and humanist indoctrination?Read More
We live in a nation where we have been blessed with tremendous freedom, including the ability to openly proclaim the gospel of salvation to all men. But we are seeing an attack on religious freedom that will be a challenge to all of us as Christians. This morning we cover a few stories about the increasing challenges to our religious freedoms–but we also take a step back to keep things in proper perspective.Read More
The freedom to worship and express our religious beliefs is an important right guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. But with it comes all sorts of challenges. When a religion known for suppressing the rights of women and other people begins to spread, where does safety and religious freedom intersect or conflict?
This morning we cover a brewing legal battle in Michigan where a city denied Muslims a permit to build a mega-Mosque in a residential community. Now the Federal Government is threatening legal action against the city.
While many Christians agree with the city’s decision this begs the question of how would they feel if it was a Christian Church being denied the right to build? Should the reality of growing radical Muslim terrorism factor in to the discussion on religious freedoms?
In the first segment we are joined by Dr. Cal Beisner of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation for an update on the climate change battles and what we need to know about “science” in this battle.Read More
Paul encouraged believers to run the good race finishing life in the holiness of God. Jesus called us to new heights of holy living by the power of His Word and God’s Spirit. Similar to an athlete competing in the pole vault, Jesus has set an increasingly high bar for us to aim for in our striving to pursue holy living in this world. Dave Wager is back with us to discuss how Jesus set the ultimate standard, raised the bar on holy living, and by God’s grace and Spirit we can reach new heights in Christ.Read More
Today’s guest is Elijah Abraham of Living Oasis Ministries. We discuss the president’s visit to the Middle East and what’s on the table as he meets with Israeli leaders as well and Palestinian Authority leaders. Will America still defend Israel if they are attacked? What about moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem? Does the Trump administration still oppose a two-state solution?
Where Christians and the American church are concerned, too many churches and leaders have backed away from preaching the hard truths of Scripture while many of us struggle with conforming to this world. Since the average believer has not been well equipped to do ministry and accurately handle God’s Word, what are some of the steps we can take to be more disciplined in prayer and Bible study so we can be effective and fruitful witnesses for Jesus Christ?Read More
With terrorism on the rise, many Americans are naturally concerned with safety, wanting the federal government to inform us about hateful ideologies and protect us from terrorist organizations like ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood. But safety usually comes with a potentially severe price: Freedom. It is a difficult balance to maintain maximum safety without government intrusion into privacy, freedom of speech, or other liberties our Constitution guarantees us as citizens.
Also, there is a potentially dangerous trend within our National Security Agencies to become political as we are witnessing holdover members of the Obama Administration leaking damaging innuendo or facts about the Trump Administration to the press. Few would argue the media doesn’t want to undermine the President’s agenda and see him fail.
Ryan Mauro is a national security expert withe The Clarion Project and a Shillman Fellow. He joins us to discuss President Trump’s trip to the Middle East this weekend, as well as the growth of terrorism and what can be legally done about it.
Next, David Fiorazo presents another Media Watch segment concerning what he calls hypocritical, irresponsible, malignant media bias, and we discuss the increasing discrimination against Christians and conservatives in America.Read More
If you have ever been disappointed with God, His answer to your prayers or His timing, then welcome to the overcrowded club! Maybe we can all learn something from these experiences. Slow down and trust in Jesus; love God and love your neighbor, submit to God’s sovereignty. Obey His commandments and walk by faith (not by sight) a day at a time.
While we were still sinners, Christ redeemed us at just the right time, forgave our sins, and will return to deliver us eternally. He’s got us covered past, present, and future!
Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, 2 Corinthians 1:10 (NKJV)Read More
Though you may not hear this in the news, Christians continue to be the most persecuted group around the world according to recent studies. Nearly 600 million believers were prevented from practicing their faith openly in 2016. Many are imprisoned or killed for their profession of faith in Jesus Christ. Are you and I prepared for increased discrimination and persecution here?
Today we are joined by Pastor Tom Doyle, who has spent 15 years as a Christian Missionary, and is VP and Middle East Director for e3 Partners based in Dallas, Texas. Tom has authored four books including his latest, Standing in the Fire: Courageous Christians Living in Frightening Times. Tom joins us to discuss how the gospel is being spread in the most dangerous places in the world.Read More
