Reality is not always pleasant. But to deny the reality of the crisis we face in America is foolishness. By every measurable standard we are a nation in decline. Republicans are arguing among themselves about who has the best policies to fix the problems while Democrats have become obstructionists and have forged a national resistance against anything the Trump administration attempts to do. And Christians are also divided politically and morally on many issues including whether we should even engage in politics.Read More
In John 18:38, Pontius Pilate asks Jesus one of the single greatest questions of the entire Bible: “What is truth?” That question is just as important today. It might seem like a very simple question, but when we see how the definition of truth has been twisted and redefined these days, it is vital to clarify from the Word of God.
We are also seeing the subsequent trouble our culture and the church is in, so there is no greater challenge facing us today than to define truth as God defines it instead of following the world and changing the definition to feed our flesh.
Cindy Hartline of Love for the Truth Radio joins us this morning to discuss truth and how it has been redefined to fit the agenda of sinful man.
In our second segment, David Fiorazo has our weekly Media Watch segment as we help you see the clever deception of secular media and how they attempt to indoctrinate people into their agenda.Read More
Today we take a look at several Old Testament Scriptures revealing how God deals with people. Even though many prophecies were unique or specific for the nation of Israel, there are principles that we can learn and patterns of behavior we can avoid. We discuss idolatry in America, spiritual warfare including witches casting spells on President Trump, as well as the dangers of government spying on private citizens and its ability to hack any of our technological devices.
On the program is author, pastor, and prophecy expert, Carl Gallups. He teaches and comments on Israel and the book of Numbers, and explains how we may be following in their footsteps by going after false gods here in America.Read More
This morning we discuss an article by Pastor Bryan Fischer who points the finger squarely at the professing Christian Church in America for our nation’s decline in morality and biblical values. The Christian Church is supposed to be the moral and spiritual conscience of our nation, challenging government and people when they stray from God. Instead, Fischer thinks it has become the problem rather than the solution. We also check in with Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action to discuss the spiritual and political climate in Madison regarding life, marriage, and religious freedom issues. From today’s interview with Julaine: “Law is always downstream of culture.”Read More
We must be undaunted in establishing God’s Word as the basis of our thinking, our faith, and our lives. There are many within the church who do not believe God’s Word in its entirety and do not believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. Truth is on the line here as we try to navigate a godless and rapidly changing culture.Read More
Jesus warned His disciples in John 15 that because the world hated Him, it would also hate all those who believe in and follow Him as well. The times in which we live certainly bear out the truth of Jesus’ warning. But if we are not speaking God’s truth and living out the Bible, people may not know we are Christians.
Led by atheists, LBGTQ activists, a corrupt humanist court system, and a corrupt media, our nation is seeing a steady diet of lawsuits against the free speech of Christian individuals and organizations. Religious freedoms are being redefined.
This morning we cover some recent stories involving the godless push to eradicate biblical Christian morality in America, and we analyze some of the evidence of growing hatred and discrimination against Christians. Our special guest today is Brad Dacus, president of The Pacific Justice Institute.Read More
The Bible clearly speaks to issues such as marriage, sexual perversion, and the devaluing of human life. And there can be little doubt that on the whole, America has decided to set aside God’s laws on these issues and do what appeals to our flesh. We murder unborn children, promote hedonism, hyper-sexuality; we redefine marriage and family, and now euthanasia is being presented as the next “human right.” Advocates of assisted suicide claim they are fighting for the “dignity” of all and of course, for the good of society.
This morning, we cover a story in Minnesota where a mother has been told by a court she has no right to insist that her teenage son dress like a boy, and then the sad story of an American Institution that long stood for character and morality, but caved to political and monetary pressures to allow transgenders: The Boy Scouts.
In our first segment, we check in with Doug Wakefield of Best Minds, Inc. for an economic update. We ask Doug if there is anything the Trump Administration can do to slow down the economic meltdown many are predicting. A few issues include the health care industry and student loan debt.Read More
It is also indisputable and documented that babies in the womb have a developed nervous system and feel pain. How irrational to think a baby senses or feels nothing until the very moment they are delivered, and then all of a sudden upon seeing daylight or when the umbilical cord is cut, pain receptors kick in.Read More
How do we lovingly dialogue and confront moral relativists who claim truth doesn’t exist? This morning we read an “Open Letter to a Relativist”– one woman’s response to a moral relativist whose beliefs seem to speak for a growing number of people these days.
We also check in with Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action to discuss realistic legislation that can be enacted to curtail, and perhaps one day, end the tragedy of abortion in our nation. Can abortion eventually be eliminated? Or do we have to settle for incremental victories from time to time?Read More
How do we open a respectful dialogue with youth, unbelievers, and even professing Christians who embrace evolution, abortion, and man-made marriage? We ask honest questions to get them to think about God’s truth and how they reached their own conclusions.Read More
If the media, Hollywood, and Democrats are truly concerned about protecting women, why is there no outcry over this? Since wombs are dangerous places for black babies, isn’t there a story on racism here? Margaret Sanger sure would be proud of America today…Read More
Our Christian brothers and sisters around the world are facing increased persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ. But we here in America face limited discrimination and a soft persecution at worst. Are we spiritually prepared for the coming days when we are truly hated for the name sake of Jesus Christ? Is our professed Christian walk even worthy of hatred and persecution of the world? Or does our life blend in too closely with the lives of unbelievers? Don Veinot joins the program today.
This morning we look at recent studies showing increased hatred of Jesus Christ and His followers, and how Christians in America are being influenced more and more by secular humanist thought.Read More
In a world increasingly hostile to God and His Word, the importance of belonging to a strong, biblical church has never been greater. Sadly, an increasing number of churches seem to be looking for ways to compromise with secular culture in the hopes of growing their church. Many crucial, biblical issues are not being addressed for fear members might be offended and leave the church. But there are still many solid Christian churches out there who are staying true to God’s Word and refusing to give in to political correctness or conform to the world.
In our consumer driven mindset these days, we want what we want, when we want it. But has this mindset caused some to leave churches for the wrong reason? Is it all about us being fed and a church meeting our needs? What about serving the body of Christ? And how do we know when it might be time to find a new church, and what does a solid church look like?
Joining us today for an in depth look at the importance of strong Christian teachings and fellowship in the church is Pastor Randy White.Read More
When dealing with governments or political/social movements, ‘follow the money’ is usually sound advice when you want to know the real agenda. We consistently hear the latest scares about how the earth is heating to catastrophic levels, threatening humanity. This coming from the same people who warned us thirty years ago that we risked heading into a new “ice age” that would threaten to destroy us.
Many people believe the real issue is radical wealth redistribution leading to totalitarian world government or even population control. As we approach Earth Day this Saturday and the ant-scientific ‘March for Science,’ expect to hear grim warnings of where we are headed over CO2 emissions once again. Joining us to cut through the fog is Dr. Cal Beissner of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation.
We also look at the National Day of Prayer events that will be held on May 4 once again this year. While Christians gathering for prayer is a good thing, have some of them become nothing more than multi-faith events promoting Universalism? We’ll discuss that with the coordinators of our Green Bay area National Day of Prayer in our second segment this morning.Read More
In my latest book The Death of Christian Thought, I discuss how it is not the blatant lies that are most dangerous, but rather the clever deceptions of Satan and false teachers that are our greatest threat. Deception masked as truth is subtle, but very dangerous, slowly leading many away from the truth of God’s Word.
This morning we begin a discussion on an article by Tim Challies titled “7 False Teachers in the Church Today” that equips us to discern between truth and clever deception.
We also check in with Brad Dacus of the Pacific Justice Institute to discuss the many court cases and threats involving our religious freedom in America, especially the transgender movement.Read More
It is much easier to say we believe something than it is to live it sometimes. We all say we trust God, or love our spouses, but do our actions continually support our verbal claims? According to the Bible, faith in Jesus Christ goes beyond mental assent; it is an unshakable belief of the mind and the heart: a complete, unwavering commitment to Him as our Lord and Savior.
Dave Wager of Nicolet Bible Institute joins us this morning to discuss the importance of living what we claim to believe.Read More
