Today’s discussion is a powerful one that everyone in Christ needs to hear. Dave spoke the assertion that “many attending churches today think they are saved, but they are not.” Is that scriptural?Read More
For too long, too many people think of abortion as merely a “political” or a “social” issue”. Some suggest it only falls under the category of privacy: a woman’s medical decision “between her and her Doctor”. But the reality is we are talking about life or death for an innocent baby created by God in His image. Wisconsin Right to Life is one of the most prestigious, efficient pro-life organizations in our nation. Mike and David are joined by Heather Weininger, executive director of Wisconsin Right to Life to discuss pro-life issues as well as the September 24 Green Bay dinner and reception for the Veritas Society.

There can be no doubt the rules of cultural engagement for Christians is changing rapidly – especially as we attempt to share our faith and live our lives. Just the mere mention of the Bible or the word “Christian” conjures up accusations of being an intolerant bigot, homophobe, and hater.
What do we do as Christian witnesses who are instructed to be salt and light in the world?
Today Mike and David take a comprehensive look at the controversy surrounding New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees who is being criticized from all angles over his recent support of the national campaign, “Bring Your Bible to School Day” (Oct. 3). Brees also responded to the criticism he received from cultural bullies and LGBTQ advocates as well as the Christian Community.Read More
Change is sometimes abrupt and immediate, but more often it is comprised of a slow erosion over time as little by little truth is replaced with opinions and emotions. The serious decline of Christianity in America is the result of decades of subtle changes in what has been and is currently being taught in public education, what is presented in media, and from pulpits that often seem more interested in placating culture instead of speaking God’s truth and shining the light of Christ truth into it.Read More
God is righteous, just and holy. He gets angry and will one day pour out His wrath upon a fallen, sinful world and many will perish. But He is also loving and kind; patient and long suffering; He is merciful and offers His grace to those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Our human level of thinking and understanding cannot readily reconcile these attributes—they often seem contradictory to us. Dave Wager joins Mike and Crash to discuss God’s attributes as we look at the Book of Nahum.Read More
In John 8:31-32 Jesus says “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
In our final segment we look at a report that famous televangelist Benny Hinn has renounced the “prosperity preaching” that , along with his fake healing shows, has marked his life as a public figure.

There’s an old saying, “politics makes strange bedfellows,” but these days professing Christianity, government, and worldliness also seem to be aligning more often, developing very strange partnerships. We’ve seen so-called “Celebrity pastors” often embrace Hollywood stars or elite sports celebrities who claim to be Christians, but they often do so without a modicum of discernment or wisdom, causing more confusion in a a church that is confused enough already.
In our final segment today we look at a resolution passed by the Democratic Party that applauds “non-religious Americans” while disdaining Christian churchgoers. Our guest today is Don Veinot of Midwest Christian Outreach. He joins Mike and David to discuss how friendship seems to be more important than truth to a growing number of Christian leaders, and how heresy is on the rise in the church itself.Read More
In segment 1, we have a discussion about what so-called Liberal Christianity is and how it is infecting a growing number of churches and denominations. We connect with author Dan Jensen. His excellent book is titled A False Kind of Christianity.
As we see more young people and leaders abandoning the Christian faith, it is important we assess their thought process and motives in doing so. (They are taking some followers with them and away from the truth.) To simply argue about whether or not they were ever truly converted believers can be unproductive.
The reality is that many younger people either want nothing to do with historical, Biblical Christianity or they are finding churches and denominations that are redefining and diluting Christian doctrines to line up with their worldly values and philosophies.
In our final segment today Mike and David share a thought-provoking perspective from John Stonestreet of BreakPoint about why this is happening and how we might address it.Read More
A series of recent surveys asked youth who they trust for advice on important moral and practical decisions. Police, government, and even parents were on the list. But what was at the top? College Professors! This is obviously bad news for them, our country, and the Christian Church since the vast majority of College professors are progressive at best and anti-Christian and pro-socialism at worst.
Parents really have their work cut out for them today. Christian kids need a solid foundation of truth and a biblical worldview. Unless things change, things will only grow worse for our nation and the Church in America.
Dr. Mark Eckel of Ratio Christi Ministries joins Mike and David for a discussion on how to reach people with truth from Scripture when many are seeking answers in all the wrong places.Read More
Today, we dive into an education update featuring an expert on the topic as we discuss some little-known history and a few key players that have brought us to the current state of education in America. When darkness increases, light shines the brightest. So how does America look today? Where is the salt and light? Are Christians equipped for the spiritual and cultural battles we are faced with today? As we strive to share the Gospel, there is also a spiritual war going on against Christ and His truth. The Bible encourages believers to be soldiers for Christ. And in Ephesians 6 Paul tells us to put on the armor of God. Why?
Believers need preparation and protection! Paul writes that the Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God, the only offensive weapon for believers. We must speak the word and, in order to do that we need to know the word of God.Read More
“Please, pastor, tell me what I want to hear. Make me feel good. No hard truths, no tough topics, just love and grace and encouragement. Don’t get too deep. I just want to enjoy my life and not to be challenged in my faith.” Sound extreme? People may not admit it, but we might be surprised how common this attitude is among churchgoers in America.
Today’s guest is evangelist, pastor/teacher, and former Muslim, Elijah Abraham.Read More
