The Peace of God
Paul tells us in Philippians Chapter 4 that we should rejoice in the Lord at all times, not be anxious and receive the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding. Now which of us would not want total peace? Yet which of us as Christians truly experiences it?
We have been forgiven of our sins and received the promise of eternity with God in heaven, yet we continue to struggle and worry about this life. Instead of exhibiting peace we are often filled with angst.
Dave Wager of Silver Birch Ranch and Nicolet Bible Institute joins Mike and Crash today to discuss what the peace of God looks like and how we can enter it and enjoy the life He has given us.
The Dangers and Challenges in Sharing the Gospel
Sharing the gospel in foreign lands has always been difficult, but these days there are challenges that are making the task increasingly difficult and dangerous. Radical Islam has been emboldened by ruthless leaders and a media willfully silent on its evil actions. Even within missionary circles there seems to be confusion on how best to share the gospel, making the task all the more difficult.
Elijah Abraham of Living Oasis Ministries regularly travels around the world sharing the gospel and teaching church leaders to equip their church members in sound doctrine for the work of evangelism and discipleship. He joins Mike and David to discuss the increasingly difficult challenges of missionary work, and how some mission ministries are making the task even more difficult by preaching a watered-down or even false gospel.

Uh Oh: A Middle East Peace Plan in the Works
For Christians seeking to understand the last days, fewer things grab our attention than talk of a Middle East Peace Plan between Israel and her enemies. Many believe Daniel chapter 9 talks about a seven year peace treaty between Anti-Christ and Israel that will usher in the final countdown to the return of Jesus to judge all men and nations.
President Trump is unveiling his “Deal of the Century,” aimed at bringing peace between Israel and her enemies, and many in the Christian community are watching to see if it is eventually accepted and implemented. But before we get the cart before the horse, let’s take a look at the practicality of the plan being acceptable to all parties concerned. And remember, even if a peace plan is eventually signed that doesn’t mean it is the peace treaty Daniel prophesies. There have been others before this.
John Loeffler of Steel on Steel Radio joins Mike and David to talk about this as well as continue our discussion from yesterday on Marxism invading American Christianity.
Growing Acceptance of Marxism in Churches
As American Christianity generally bends over backwards to be seen as “loving” to the world, we have seen secular culture extend its influence within the church. From the social justice movement to the powerful LGBTQ lobby, we see more and more churches accommodating things of this world directly contradictory to the Bible. And now, with another presidential election on the horizon we are seeing an enhanced push for the church to embrace something that is directly opposed to the Bible: Marxist Socialism.
Mike and David look at the growth of socialist ideals within professing Christianity and why this is ominous and dangerous to the church.
On the Brink of Middle East War?
Tension between the United States and Iran are growing and many fear a war might be inevitable, as the U.S. opposes Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons that they have stated they would use to wipe out Israel. As the world looks on through the lens of their world view we as Christians try to understand these events through the prophetic lens of the Bible, which warns us of upheaval and wars as the enemies of God oppose Him and Israel in the final days.
Pastor and best-selling Author Carl Gallups is a student of biblical prophecy and joins Mike and Crash this morning to share his perspective on the tensions between Iran and the U.S and Israel. How do we as disciples of Jesus Christ pray and prepare for what might lie ahead?
Defining Grace, the Gospel, and the Church
The Condition of the American Church – Part 2
Wednesday, we aired the first hour of a conversation with former muslim, now born-again evangelist/missionary Elijah Abraham and Apologist Jay Segert of The Starting Point Project when they were in town for our Watchman Conference. Today, this tough conversation continues. Mike and our guests discuss the challenges and the possible future of “organized church” in America.
Dave Wager: Living vs Loving In Our World
Mike and David are off today. Crash Connell visits with Dave Wager about what the Bible teaches believers how we should live and love in the world around us. What is our motivation? Dave often refers to a book he’s reading, THE HOLY WAR by John Bunyan, 1st & 2nd John and passages in the book of Job.
Dr. Duke Pesta on the Politically-Correct, Intolerant Education Culture
Some of the topics we discuss with Dr. Duke Pesta include a taxpayer-funded, “free” breakfast & lunch program in public schools, a liberal college bullying a local bakery, a Christian pastor under fire – from students – for mentioning his faith in a commencement address, Teen Vogue instructing 16-year olds on how to obtain an abortion without their parent’s permission, a new social media platform ant Twitter alternative (Parler.com) that will not censor Christian and conservative voices, AND, the probability that U.S. taxpayers will soon be on the hook for billions of dollars of unpaid student loans.
How to Respond with Truth and Grace During LGBTQ Pride Month
For those who haven’t heard, June is Gay Pride month. The LGBTQ+ community and their allies are out in full force in American culture in the hopes of making converts to moral relativism and justifying unbilical lifestyles. From rainbow flags outside buildings across social media to multicolored decorations adorning your favorite shops and brands, it seems that the majority is celebrating.
But what exactly are they celebrating and how should a Christian respond to Pride month? How can we present truth in love and with grace without offending? That’s a tall order, but we must obey God rather than man. We must prepare Christians to defend the faith and to speak the truth in love because ultimately, we want to build bridges to share the Gospel, not win arguments. When we are both compassionate and rational, our approach tends to be more thoughtful.
