On the Brink of Cataclysmic Change?

You would be hard pressed to remember a time when world leaders faced such a series of important decisions that could lead to world wide war or calamity. Here are just a few things to consider: increased attacks against Israel by Hamas, an Iranian regime developing nuclear weapons; Russia is entrenched in Syria with an eye on Israel; Islam is sweeping across Europe and Asia; and Western nations are arguing about trade and tariffs which could lead to economic turmoil.

All of this is set against the background of Bible prophecy and is happening at a time when the ‘professing’ Christian Church in America and Europe seems to be floundering due in part to apathy, heresy, and an ecumenical movement that puts unity and peace above truth.

This week, a crucial summit is taking place between President Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un spurred on by the president’s tough rhetoric against North Korea. Without God’s word as our anchor of hope, we could easily get depressed. But His word is truth and His promises everlasting. Gary Kah of Hope For the World has studied and written about the coming one world government and religion, and joins us to put all this into proper context and perspective.

The God of Israel, History – and America?

Fulfilled prophecy and God’s faithfulness throughout the Bible encourage us because we know we can trust that He will make good on the remaining prophecies regarding Israel, the return of Christ, and the end times. No nation or world leader comes into power apart from God causing or allowing it to happen. The book of Daniel states: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things (Daniel 2:20-22).”

Understanding the End Game

Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in an event or time that we fail to take a step back and look at the big picture. If you take a snapshot of what is happening in the world these days it might look like this: A decaying moral society; leaders who care more about their personal wealth and power instead of serving those they lead; an imminent major war in the Middle East; and an overall feeling of anxiety permeating every aspect of society and the lives of many. Yes a simple snapshot at any given time can paint a powerful picture… and the picture we see these days is not a pretty one.

But God has given us His Word so that believers might not be deceived by what we see around us. We are to take note of what is happening around us so we can understand it in context of God’s promises. And our guest this morning is a voice of reason and hope for such a time as this.

Gary Kah of Hope For the World has written insightful books on the coming one world government and one world religion, all the while encouraging believers to always maintain the eternal hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Gary joins us this morning to look at the crisis in Syria that has the world on the brink of another huge war, along with the accelerating movement toward a one world government and religion where humanity will pledge its allegiance to the enemies of God.

Is the Middle East About to Erupt?

Here in our nation we have been focused on tragic school shootings and the continuing probe into potential “collusion” with Russia by the Trump Administration. Occasionally we turn an eye to the growing threat of a nuclear North Korea, but we hear little about rapidly changing and threatening events in the Middle East.

The Islamic world is fighting a civil war between Sunni and Shiite; Iran is threatening to attack neighboring Sunni nations and testing Israeli defenses; and Syria has been decimated with civil war, killing tens of thousands. And Turkey, once an ally of Israel, has become a radical Muslim nation and a true wild card in all this turmoil.

This morning Elijah Abraham, a former Muslim and now on-fire born-again believer in Jesus Christ, joins us for his perspective on the Middle East and the growing threat of Islamic terrorism here in the United States.

Desperate for God and His Truth – in India

We take so much for granted where our faith and freedoms are concerned. Too many Christians in America have lost the desire for spiritual things while it is evident so many people in other countries hunger for God’s Word and the truth. There are striking similarities between the lukewarm church in Laodicea from the book of Revelation and the comfortable, complacent church in  the United States.

We receive another first-hand account of the state of the church today with our guest, teacher and missionary, Elijah Abraham, who just returned from India where he taught and helped equip pastors there.

Jerusalem: Important Then and Now

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we can’t help but hear about Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Israel. But if we ignore the signs of the times including what is happening in Jerusalem, we risk missing important end times events. These prophetic signs from God point to the return of Jesus to judge all mankind and establish His everlasting Kingdom in which “the government will be upon His shoulders.”

Pastor Randy White joins us to discuss recent events in Jerusalem and the Middle East as well as some forgotten history of the holy land. Randy also shares some fascinating details we may not know about the Christmas Story. In segment three we touch on two articles that cover anti-semitism in France and the ‘bah humbug’ spirit trying to prevent prisoners from receiving religions education.

Jerusalem, Prophecy, and the Return of Israel

Today we check in with Pastor Carl Gallups regarding world events including President Trump’s public recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and the prophetic implications of this bold, historic move. We discuss these and other questions:

Should Jerusalem be the capital of modern-day Israel?

Is God’s hand on President Trump or on the United States?

Can God use anyone or anything to further His plans?

Chapters referenced: Zechariah 12, Ezekiel 38, Isaiah 45,

The mantra of the radical LGBTQ movement for years has been that they just want “equal treatment.” That statement is proving to be a lie as the movement goes out of its way to shut down or silence anyone who opposes their ungodly lifestyle. In this new case, a donut shop in Maine called “The Holy Donut” simply wanted to help a poor family over Christmas but was forced to stop because of attacks by LGBTQ radicals. The increasing level of threats against Christian business owners and individuals show that LGBTQ activists are influencing public opinion and gaining support for their tactics of intimidation.

How SCOTUS Works, & the Significance of Standing With Israel

Over the past several decades, most presidential candidates declared they believe Jerusalem is the true capital of Israel and that they would move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem if elected. History has proven this to be political rhetoric to capture more votes as no past president has followed through on the promise – Until now. Yesterday, President Trump kept his campaign promise–a rarity for candidates these days–and proclaimed the U.S. recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city and would begin plans to move our embassy there. Whatever you think of President, Trump it is certainly refreshing to see a candidate actually follow through on a campaign promise.

Other than Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, world leaders are reacting with anger, claiming this will set the “peace process” back. This is the same ‘peace process” that has produced zero results for many decades. This morning we will discuss the potential effects of this courageous move by a controversial president.

In our first segment, we check in with Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Council and hear some fascinating insights on how the Supreme Court works, as well as her thoughts on the opening arguments in the Jack Phillips’ religious freedom case. Is religious freedom hanging in the balance and could it come down to one man’s vote?

The Spirit of Antichrist

1 John 4:1-3: “Beloved do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.”

Matter settled: Islam is a spirit of antichrist because it denies that Jesus is God in the flesh…so why are so many professing Christians believing that Christians and Muslims worship the same god?

Elijah Abraham, a former Muslim and now born-again believer sheds some light on this deception.

In our final segment we look at the continuing hypocrisy of the left regarding freedom of speech and religious expression.

The Push for Globalism, Division by Design

As the Bible warns us, the world continues to become a more dangerous and evil place.  The love of many grows colder, men are self-serving, evil is seen as good, God is hated, there are natural disasters, economic concerns, as well as wars and rumors of war.  But the good news has always been this life is a vapor compared to eternity, and God is sovereign – in control and on His throne. No scheme of Satan or man will foil His plans.

In the midst of growing cultural and political chaos in America and worldwide, prophecy will be fulfilled and God has a plan for His people: speak the truth and share the gospel with the lost, making disciples of all nations.

Our guest this morning is Gary Kah of Hope for the World Ministries.  Gary is a worldview expert and has done extensive research over several decades concerning the progressing globalism and the establishment of a one world religion.  But Gary also reminds us that in the midst of all that is going on we can trust in God’s Word, and that the best thing we can do as believers to combat evil is to share the gospel and hope of Jesus Christ as we strive to overcome evil with good.

Free Masonry
Will American Christian Churches ever return to a biblical model for church?
The continuing gifts of the Holy Spirit vs. the teaching of “cessationism”
The New Apostolic Reform Movement,
and, how do we speak the truth in love when the other side wants to shut us down?
Before we get to your questions, we have a special guest on the program today – and we’ve been trying to get this man back for about 10 months. All Eyes on Israel; Nabeel Qureshi, and Pastor’s Wives

The Bible is clear that in the final years before the Lord’s return, Israel will be ground zero for activity ushering in His return. Jerusalem is called a stumbling block to the world and these days approximately 25% of all discussion within the United Nations focuses on the conflict between Israel and her neighbors who have publicly stated they want it wiped off the map.

We also remember apologist, #Nabeel Qureshi (34) and his conversion from Islam, his heart for ministry, and his legacy. After a year long battling stomach cancer, Nabeel left to be with the Lord last Saturday. We also discussed the expectations the church generally places on pastors and specifically, their wives! There is not enough attention paid to the importance of loving, praying for and supporting them.

We’re joined on air by Jim Fletcher of Prophecy Matters to discuss the importance of Israel, Jerusalem, Damascas, and the Middle east in light of Bible prophecy. We also debunk the September 23 prediction of the rapture or apocalypse.

The Importance of Biblical Apologetics

Today, we are joined by Jay Seegert of The Starting Point Project to discuss the importance of solid Biblical Apologetics and the rise of the religion of “Love.” We discuss the ideas behind ‘coexist’ and ‘we are the world’ philosophies. People have favorite loves and we all may be passionate about something in our lives. But what our purpose is and what we are passionate about speaks volumes about our spiritual condition and relationship with God.

In our third segment, Mike and David look at a few interesting statements made by mega-church pastor Steven Furtick; the same pastor who did his infamous “haters” video blasting fundamental Christians. This time, Furtick made some provocative– perhaps irresponsible–comments in a sermon about imperfect faith and doubting the Word of God.

Canada Forces Christians into the Closet

Toronto Police said a Christian man, Bill Whatcott “distributed anti-gay material which promoted hatred toward the gay community.” The 51-year-old was charged and faces 2 years in jail.

Also, Canada’s Supreme Court recently ruled 7-2 against a Christian college, Trinity Western University’s Law School, essentially forcing them to choose between biblical standards or accreditation, basically suggesting Christianity and academia are incompatible.

And a judge in Canada has officially declared two men and a woman parents of one child, on the child’s birth certificate. The unmarried threesome are in a relationship together; the judge simply pointed out that “society is continuously changing…”

Problem-Free Lives & Perfect Churches

One of the biggest reasons people object to God and the Christian faith is the fact He allows evil and suffering in this world. Many interpret His sovereignty as a lack of care for His creation. This can present a challenge when sharing the gospel, especially on college campuses where young people already have wrong beliefs about Christianity due to the godless culture and education system today.

In our first segment, we’re blessed to have first time guest, Lori Peters, of Ratio Christi ministries. Lori and her husband, Kevin live in New Hampshire and answered God’s call to apologetics ministry. Lori attended Luther Rice University to earn a Master of Divinity in Apologetics, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Theology at Liberty University. She now serves as the Ratio Christi Chapter Director at the University of New Hampshire.

Today’s topics include evil and suffering, apologetics, a pro-life film about Roe v. Wade, and some of the reasons people consider changing churches.

Who is Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh?

In our first segment today, we check in with Tina Marie Griffin, Counter Culture Mom, to discuss some disturbing news in social media, entertainment, and gaming, including dangers parents need to be aware of in raising their children.

In our second segment today we look at the personal and judicial history of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. Is there enough information to predict an outcome on the Senate vote and what kind of judge he would be? The opposition and “resistance” has commenced.

In segment three, we discuss a hard-hitting article titled “Four Progressive Steps into Apostasy” looking at how some churches (not just Catholics) and Christians fall into deep theological traps. Truly, deception is rampant!
