We are fresh off of Easter weekend as many of us celebrated the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ—God in the flesh who shed His blood for our redemption. He has freed us from the power of death and sin. But with the simple yet profound message of the gospel, many Christians are still often confused about what this life should look like. Did Jesus die so I could be healthy, wealthy, or comfortable in this life? Are my physical sufferings or trials a sign of a lack of faith? If the Bible says Jesus has taken our sorrows, then why do we still struggle with sadness and anxiety?Pastor Randy White joins us to look at the promises of Jesus Christ and how we apply them in correct context to our lives as His disciples.Read More

There are still some sound biblical Christian churches in America; a “remnant,” to be sure. But a growing number look more and more like the world than they do an assembly of God’s called-out people. A difficulty arises when you have been a member of a historically sound church, but it has been in the midst of a transformation where it is adopting the beliefs and values of this fallen world. This gradual shift is often so subtle that you cannot see the drift away from God and toward secular humanism.
Pastor Randy White has studied this trend and joins us to discuss how this drift of the church away from God has transpired, how we can spot it, and how to find a biblical church in a sea of growing heresy and apostasy.Read More
Christmas Eve and Day are the most widely attended church gatherings every year in our nation. From committed believers to professing Christians fulfilling an “obligation”, millions gather to hear about the birth of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh. These church services vary in scope, with many just focusing solely on the birth of Jesus but others using the opportunity to hear the full gospel message, including His death, burial and resurrection. And many of the beliefs we have come to embrace about the Christmas celebration are a combination of scripture and man-made beliefs and traditions.
Pastor Randy White joins us this morning to discuss some facts about the time of the birth of Jesus we might not be aware of.Read More
Our nation is at a serious crossroad with some big decisions to make. Politically, the gulf between Conservative and Liberal has grown big, nasty and probably no longer reconcilable, meaning compromise is probably a thing of the past. With studies showing a large percentage of younger people viewing Socialism favorably, our nation will most likely continue to be fundamentally transformed to the far left, just as former President Obama promised. Morally, socially, and economically our nation is starting to look radically different than fifty or a hundred years ago.
Too many Christian Churches in America seem more willing to embrace secular culture instead of fighting against immorality. Along with a leftist media, education system, and entertainment industry, government is now starting to badger and intimidate Christians into silence. Because of this, we might expect a coming major schism within American churches being divided into two camps: Those faithful to God and His Word and those who submit to “Caesar” to maintain his favor and protection.
Pastor Randy White joins us to discuss the top five debates we face economically, politically and spiritually in this nation. The conclusions could define our future.Read More
In the final segment this morning, Mike and David look at an important announcement from leadership of the Mormon Church: they will no longer call themselves “Mormons” so they can, in their words, emphasize their “Christian” doctrine. Those of us who understand the Bible compared to the foundational beliefs of Mormonism realize this is pure deception, and we’ll explore the potential reasons they are making this change in name only.
We’ll also look at an interfaith religious coalition’s “Peace Caravan” headed to Israel to promote a peace treaty between Israel and the nations committed to her destruction.
In the first segment, we continue our look at “30 Biblical People You Need to Know” with Pastor Randy White. Our subjects include Saul, King David, Solomon, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, John the Baptist, Nehemiah, King Herod and Daniel.Read More
Mike and David welcome back to the program, Pastor Randy White, as he shares some fascinating insights about people in the Bible that we may not be aware of. By the way, the list of 15 people we need to know includes saints, sinners, judges, a prostitute, and the world’s first humanist and advocate for a one world government. Check out the podcast!
Segment 3: In their passion to block another conservative Supreme Court Justice who is pro-life, Senate Democrats brought in a female Methodist Church pastor to testify against Judge Brett Kavanaugh. It is understandable that Americans are divided on Supreme Court nominees, but Christians should not be. It is heresy to claim Jesus would support a woman’s right to abort her child because, “Jesus would advocate for a just society that allows people to live their lives to the fullest.” Apparently that advocacy does not apply to the life of the child hanging in the balance in a mother’s womb. And of course her opinion is backed up by twisting the words of Jesus to say something that was not intended at all.Read More
In our final segment today, Mike and David look at Willow Creek Church’s implosion based on the sexual harassment allegations against former pastor Bill Hybels. Last week, the entire Board of Elders, along with the new pastoral leadership team resigned, admitting they failed in their investigation on the allegations against Hybels. The question now is does this moral failure and implosion discredit Willow Creek’s global Leadership Summit and the Willow Creek Association, which was supposed to build leaders in the church? We discuss WHY the Willow Creek fallout matters and what can true Christians learn from it.
First, today’s guest is Pastor Randy White. We discuss how to respond in an increasingly caustic, divisive culture, including interacting on social media. We also discuss good and bad daily devotionals and why we should not recommend any devotional instead of God’s Word. We also discuss some interesting Bible facts you may not have known are in God’s Word.Read More
The world offers lots of so-called solutions that it claims will maintain good spiritual and emotional health. From drugs to Psychotherapy to Humanist Psychology, the world has no shortage of suggested answers to the problems of life that affect us all. In a world where respectful dialogue is being replaced with impatience, anger, self-righteousness, and even hate, it is vital that Christians not get caught up in all the uproar.
We ought not look to the ways of this world for answers. Instead we look to the Word of God and its timeless wisdom. That being said, many of us get caught up with disagreements or debates on social media which add to our actual concerns and priorities. We discuss these challenges today.
Pastor Randy White joins us this morning to offer solid, biblical advice to maintaining our spiritual and emotional health in a busy, distracting world sliding more and more into confusion and evil.Read More
We know the Bible is the Spirit-breathed, infallible, sufficient Word of God. We know it is eternal truth. But does it give us every answer to every question we might have about life? What about ‘matters of conscience’? Do we read things into the Bible in order to maintain our own beliefs? Do we try to look righteous like the legalists and Pharisees of Jesus’ time? Do we ignore or discount principles clearly stated in Scripture to justify our sin like the Gnostics or today’s emergents?
Pastor Randy White (no, not the ex-spouse to Paula White!) joins us this morning to discuss these important questions. And in our final segment we look at the problem of having celebrities in our churches, exemplified by a recent statement by Justin Bieber saying his church, Hillsong, welcomes open homosexuals to attend their church. What is meant by a “welcoming church” these days? Sure, you can “come just as you are,” but Jesus said to repent, not to stay in sin – whatever the sin.Read More
The outcry against sex trafficking is growing and rightly so, and more awareness must be raised on this issue. These tragic stories need to be reported on as every year, tens of thousands of young girls and boys are being kidnapped and conditioned for sex slavery, prostitution, or pornography. Who could possibly get in trouble for exposing sex trafficking? Apparently, a person who exposes radical Islam over in England is guilty – for standing outside a courthouse reporting on it. In our final segment we will discuss the story of conservative activist Tommy Robinson who has been imprisoned for his campaign to expose sex trafficking in England, often being run by Muslims there.
First up, we check in with Pastor Randy White to discuss Satan, Job, and ‘Heavenly councils’ as spoken of in God’s Word. You might be surprised to hear who is still a part of these councils and what he is up to these days. Pastor White also warns us about the growing ecumenical movement that threatens to water down the gospel of salvation.Read More
In the Word of God the word “discern” means to test, examine and scrutinize. In other words to carefully examine what is being presented and make a correct judgment consistent with the teachings of the Bible. But in some circles these days the word discernment has become another word for attack, discredit and destroy.
Discernment based on the Word of God is necessary and crucial to our growth in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ. Discernment is a gift to make sure we are not deceived and led astray by false teachers who preach a false gospel. But these days some who claim to represent discernment ministries use their resources to hammer any professing Christian who doesn’t believe exactly what they do about any or every teaching in the Word of God.
There is an important role to be played by discernment ministries, but how can we tell which ones are solid and biblically based and which are out to garner attention or divide the Body of Christ in a way that is harmful?
Pastor Randy White joins us to discuss this and help us understand how to discern between those serving the Body of Christ and those who are self-serving. We also look at the significance of the anniversary of Israel’s seventieth year of existence in modern times.Read More
Rick Warren’s “The Purpose Driven Life” was a best seller that got many Christians searching for God’s “purpose” for their lives. Our guest this morning says searching for our “purpose” is a wild goose chase because once you think you’ve found it the world will change its focus and you’ll end up like those dogs we see in videos chasing their tails while getting nowhere fast and becoming dizzy and frustrated. He says rather Christians should focus on the meaning of our lives–something by the way clearly defined in God’s Word.
Pastor Randy White joins us this morning to discuss the difference between purpose and meaning, along with the importance of using Biblical Exposition in evangelism.
We’ll also discuss an intriguing study about how “Generation Z” is the least Christian generation in our nation’s history–and why one Christian researcher thinks that is actually a good thing.Read More
For those who haven’t heard, June is Gay Pride month. The LGBTQ+ community and their allies are out in full force in American culture in the hopes of making converts to moral relativism and justifying unbilical lifestyles. From rainbow flags outside buildings across social media to multicolored decorations adorning your favorite shops and brands, it seems that the majority is celebrating.
But what exactly are they celebrating and how should a Christian respond to Pride month? How can we present truth in love and with grace without offending? That’s a tall order, but we must obey God rather than man. We must prepare Christians to defend the faith and to speak the truth in love because ultimately, we want to build bridges to share the Gospel, not win arguments. When we are both compassionate and rational, our approach tends to be more thoughtful.Read More
